It feels like
my lungs are working
but still I can't breathe,
my heart is pumping
but still I can't hear my heartbeats,
my blood is circulating in my body
but still I feel my body is numb,
and somehow unwillingly
I prove the verse,
"Breathing outside but dead inside".Author's Note:
As a few of my poems are inspired by Rumi (the 13th century Persian poet) they might feel similar.
