Madison slowly nods, knowing that it made sense for any photographer to have more than one camera. But still having something valuable be ruined or stolen, was a pretty big deal.

"That looks good by the way." He eyes my plate of half eaten tortellini. "I'm going to order one like it, I'll be right back." He gets up and then instantly freezes " That's if you'd rather eat by yourself?" he nervously asks.

A smug smile spreads on her face as she jokingly made a thinking face, which earns her a cackle from Scott.

By the time he came back with a plate in his hand and a bottle of red wine, they ended up talking about the most random things and laughing like there was no tomorrow.

Madison can't remember a time where she felt this happy, for once in her life she was able to have a brief moment of normalcy. She never would have thought that she'd meet someone and hang out with them. That was something she swore she'd never do. Everyone usually gets hurt because of her, so she made it her life goal to never make any friends. But today she just wanted to forget everything and worry about life later.

Upon noticing a part of the restaurants lights had turned off, she realizes every table that was filled with people were now empty. "Shit! I think that's them telling us to get the fuck out!" Madison giggles as the affect of the wine still present.

Scott smiles lazily "Nah, that's our cue to sneak in the kitchen and steal some dessert." He slowly gets up and offers his hand "Come on."

Madison furrowed her eyebrows, not sure if he was being serious or she was too drunk to even understand him. "Scott...I'm not stealing dessert...as tempting as it sounds."

Scott snickered as he grabbed Madison's hand pulling her from her seat. "Come on, you'll just have to trust me"

"But wait, I have to pay first!" She hastily says as she momentarily stumbles.

"Don't worry Madz, it's on the house." He waves his hand shooing the topic as if it's the last thing that's on his mind.

"On th- on the house?" Madison questions.

"Yeah, my family owns this restaurant." Scott doesn't elaborate any further as she's left shocked at what he has revealed.

As they walk towards the front of the restaurant, she notices a lot of people standing by the door where there was clearly an argument going on and it surely wasn't in English.

"Sei un'idiota!" (You're an idiot!) An angry elderly women yells at the guilty faced guy who's backing away slowly.

"Non era mia intenzione, lo giuro!" (I didn't mean to, I swear!) The guy yells as he makes his way behind the counter.

"Oh boy, this is gonna be good!" Scott rubs both his hands together as he watches the whole scene take place.

Raising her eyebrow at him, she looks around at the people who are observing the whole thing. All of them had amused looks on there faces as if they expected this day to come.

"Sei licenziato!" (You're fired!) The women screams as she grabs a broom chasing him with it, trying to kick him out.

"Dia, stai facendo la drammatica!" (Come on, you're being dramatic!) He yelps as the broom hits his behind.

"Vattene! Figlio ingrato!" (Get out! You ungrateful child!) She pushes him out the door and locks it trying to calm her self down.

Madison didn't need to understand there language, to know that the guy just got fired. The old lady's voice was so scary she felt herself shrink back a little.
