Daisy
I'd rather have a daisy
And be called crazy
Than to have only sunshine
To fill this pocket of mine
Because the sunshine won't stay
It'll disappear at the end of the day
But a daisy lingers
In between my fingers
To remind me what I'm here for
If only for a little bit more
A daisy is better than the sun
It stays until it's life is done
The life of a daisy may be too quick
Burning out like a candle stick
Yet a daisy put it's life in my hand
Despite such a short lifespan
Our time was short but cherished
I'll never forget the night you perished
So thank you little daisy
For being the sun when I couldn't see
