twenty-one.

i looked out the window, as tears filled my eyes.

anthony and i were supposed to go out tonight. but, apparently he forgot. he went to go hang out with payton, and he hasn't bothered to text me all day.

of course i trust him, but he forgot about our date. that he planned. and i couldn't help but have those dark thoughts that he could be with some girl right now.

the thought made me sob more, as i imagined anthony loving on someone who wasn't me. i needed to get my mind off things.

my phone started to ring, signaling i was getting a facetime call. from haley.

"hey." i croaked.

"baby, don't cry. he's a dick." she said to me.

"it was supposed to be special, because it was our first date. he planned a bunch of shit. all of it. and he forgot." i ranted.

"i know, baby. it hurts, maybe he's distracted with this friends?" she suggested.

"he hasn't even texted me. like, he could've texted me, saying that he couldn't come. instead of me getting all pretty and ready for him to not even come home." i said.

"he didn't even text you?" she asked. i shook my head.

"that's really not like him." she said.

"i know, i guess i'm just confused." i shrugged my shoulders.

"boys suck. i'm here for you no matter what." she told me.

"i love you, bestfriend." i said.

"i love you more." she said.
