I look calm on the outside, but inside my emotions run fast;
Fast like that currents in an ocean.
Oceans seem calm and filled with serenity as we look over them,
But inside, their currents run strong and true for fear of being overcome.
On trips to the beach I wonder..
.Wonder if I am like the ocean, masking my fears behind a calm facade.
I look calm on the outside, but inside my emotions run fast;
Fast like the dandelion seeds blowing away from home.
Dandelion seeds look composed and aloof in the wind,
But they must be scared on a journey with no known route.
When I blow on dandelion seeds, I wonder...
Wonder if I am like the seeds, masking my fears behind a calm facade.

Raindrops seem relaxed and unconcerned,
But they must fear the fast fall down and the rough landing.
When I walk alone in the rain, I wonder...
