"okay," yunho leaned forward, interested.

"jung. wooyoung."

san let out another muffled screech in answer, gesturing for yeosang to take the food. yeosang fist bumped yunho, giving them all a look that said 'duh'.

they carried on with mindless small talk, until two boys san had seen once or twice before in the halls strolled over to their table. one was tall, attractive, and had an inviting, sweet looking expression which san immediately felt comfortable around. the other was made of mostly legs, and walked with a sort of model sass that probably intimidated and intrigued freshmen and seniors respectively. he had a perfectly structured face finished off with big lips that suited him well; san recognized him as bambam from calculas.

the tall one smiled cutely, arm around bambam almost possesively but more subtle. "you're choi san, right?"

san nodded, wondering where this encounter was going.

"um, hi. i'm yugyeom. i just wanted to warn you, about wooyoung-" yugyeom startered, speaking awkwardly as if he was slightly embarassed. "-it's just, you seem like a good guy, ya' know? and he's... not." the boy took a little breath, carrying on from an assuring look from bambam.

"i dated jung wooyoung back in high school," san's jaw dropped.

"until he met someone much sexier who treats him well-" followed by a "shut up, bambam", "anyway, we dated. and he broke my heart. and lied. and cheated. he was sweet at first, but, he changed."

san could hardly believe what yugyeom was saying. his words went against everything wooyoung put on, his straightness. what happened to 'no homo gay is bad' wooyoung?

"wait." san made a 'time out' with his hands. "you. of the male gender." san looked at the pair for confirmation.

"...yes, last time i checked." bambam laughed and yugyeom looked at san skeptically.

"and jung wooyoung. also of the male gender."

"uh huh."

"in... a relationship? like, homo?"

"yes, san. all the homo."

"hmm. okay. i need to sit down."

"you are sitting down." felix mumbled, glancing at him in concern.

"well," bambam grinned, patting san on the back. "yugyeom has done his job of the concerned ex. we'll be going."

yunho and yeosang nodded in ackowledgement before they left, felix still moping about his lost pizza.

"wooyoung is gay?" san's eyes widened in realisition.

"or bi, or pan. don't be uneducated, san." yunho chided, tsking in an unimpressed manor.

"yeah, same same. anyway, i can't believe this." as san's disbelief settled in, it was replaced by anger and a tinge of betrayal and sadness.

"his friends are the epitome of homophobia. they despise us. what the fuck. he bullies gay freshmen! i can't believe this." san repeated, standing up with one goal in mind.

"wait, san-"

but it was too late; the boy was already on his feet and striding towards the door to find wooyoung.

he figured he'd be with his annoying friends somewhere, so he made his way outside to their usual hangout.

when he reached them, he was practically fuming, heart racing with anger and fists clenched at sides. "jung wooyoung!"

the boy he seeked looked around at his friends in amusement, crossing his arms with a smirk. "told you he just couldn't get enough."

mingi and minho laughed along with a few of wooyoung's other friends san didn't recognize. "what?" he couldn't believe how wooyoung was acting.

"you shut up, jung." san glared at him, trying to look menacing. "you- ugh. i am so, so, annoyed with you. how dare you and your fucking dumbass friends stand around like dicks, bullying poor freshmen who did nothing but dare to love, when you-"

"what?" wooyoung's smirk fell, and he walked up to san, looking at him without a trace of softness.

"yes, what, wooyoung. yugyeom told me-"

"he did what?" wooyoung shoved san hard, causing him to fall to the ground, but he wasn't hurt.

"you don't have to do this, wooyoung. just be honest."

"just shut the fuck up, choi." wooyoung's eyes glazed over with a darkness san wasn't familiar with, and before he knew what was happening, wooyoung's fist was connecting with his stomach, agonizing pain rippling through his body with the force.

"jung! that's my brother."

huh. and now he steps in. san almost laughed at jongho's shout, but he was in too much pain.

as jongho helped him up, san watched wooyoung storm off, and he felt like he was watching a stranger.
