Soren was looking for his brother. Where did Ryker go? He couldn't remember where he was or what they were hunting but he knew Ryker was there. Soren couldn't remember where Ryker went. He tripped over something and looked into his brother's eyes. Ryker was dead. Soren screamed...

Soren was jolted awake by the dream. His recurring dream. He hated that dream. It was his worst nightmare and it scared him.

He tried to forget about it when they went on a hunt. He couldn't lose Ryker. They were brothers and friends. He couldn't think of what would happen if Ryker died. He hated seeing Ryker dead. That dream freaked him out every time.

Soren looked at Nora. She was peaceful. He touched her arm and her hand. She still had gloves on. He slid the glove off, she had to be hot in them. He touched her hand and it was cold.

Was she a vampire? Was he lying in bed with a vampire? Shit! Maybe that is what she was trying to say. No. Wait. Calm down. She ate food. He saw her eating turkey and stuffing. Vampires couldn't do that. Not a vampire.

Maybe she just has bad circulation? Yes, that must be it. Bad circulation. Not everything is supernatural. Just breathe. Soren slid his hand up her arm under her sleeve. He just wanted to touch her skin. He slid her sleeve up.

She had tattoos? What in the hell? That was a lot of...shit! Were those symbols? He had never seen those before. Who was this woman? What did that mean? What did those symbols mean and why were they tattooed on her arm? He had a more disturbing thought. What was she?

Nora woke up and knew he was looking at her arm. She covered the markings and stood up. Damn it, that was the best night's sleep she ever had.

She kicked herself because she could have played them off but she already reacted poorly. He would know that something was up. He was smart and well trained. Well educated.

"What are those, Nora?" Soren was ready for an attack.

Nora backed up. "Nothing."

"Don't lie. What are they?" Soren demanded. His eyes burned into her.

Nora shook her head. "I can't tell you. You should leave. This shouldn't have...I...You should go! I can never be with you!" She was shaking. She had to calm down.

"Why?" Soren asked and stared at Nora. He needed to know what she knew. He had a lot of questions.

What was she? She appeared human and there was only a small number of creatures that could do that. He knew she was cold and the tattoos were clearly part of whatever she was.

What creatures had tattoos like that? He had to know. He had to find out before he hunted her down and kissed her...killed her. He was going to kill her. It was his job.

There was a knock and Hyde barged in when he heard a male voice. He stood in front of Nora. "You heard her."

He was coming in to wake her up. He wanted to be gone before breakfast. He would have to give his mom an excuse later.

Hyde had to keep his friend safe because clearly she wasn't capable of staying away from danger. What was one of them doing in her room? Was she crazy?

Soren humphed and stormed out of the room. He knew he could take Hyde but he wasn't armed and he wasn't sure about Nora, what she was capable of. He had to go find a gun.

Nora was shaking and threw her bag together. If she left something she didn't care. They were going to kill her.

"We need to leave. Now." Nora said. Her voice was shaking.
