SO CLOSE
You were wrapped around in my arms.
I could feel the safety of our warmth.
Through the years we've been together.
I only wanted was to love you forever.
When I'm here with you all this time.
I felt this so alive that you were mine.
This moment was my golden chance.
Tonight, we made our slow dance.
Time flew and our life goes by.
Sadly our romantic dreams must die.
I walked away and bid my last goodbye.
For I'm so sorry if I didn't give it a try.
You have someone, I guess I'm too late.
Until now and then, I only did was wait.
I tried to conceal all my scars and pain.
Whenever I watch you under the rain.
I just couldn't live a day without you.
Because all I wanted was to hold you.
My feelings for you was not pretend.
I almost reach that famous happy end.
But everyday I was stuck on believing.
In my fantasy that I've been dreaming.
I always wish upon the bright star.
Someday we would stitch our scars.
We were not broken and only just bend.
But we could try to built our love again.
Those days our distance was still so far.
We couldn't go back to where we are.
You were once my daily happy dose.
Those times when we are so close.
