that orphan

there i was just sitting there at the orphanage. I was the oldest, 13 years old. All the couple's looking for a child were looking at the younger kids. No one every wanted to adopt me. I get up and start to walk to the counter where Ms.Lili was. "Ms.Lili can i go to the lake because I already know no one is going to adopt me" I say pointing to the door. "Avid I know you doubt yourself but ya gotta have some positivity" "eh why bother" , I walk out to the lake and see no one there just like always. Everyone just thinks the lake is a sad and scary place when its my happy place. I go and sit at the end of the lake and start singing this song I heard but I didn't know the name of it.

.·*time skip*·.

It was now night time and all the couples left and a few of the people I knew left with their new families. I decided to go back to the orphanage. when I walked in I found Ms.Lili cleaning, "hey Avid! so there was someone who called saying they wanted to adopt and they said they wanted to adopt a girl who was a little older. So I told them about you and they said they'd come over tomorrow, so I recommend you pack your bags just in case they adopt you." as soon as I heard this new my eyes lit up. "OK!" I yell while running upstairs to my room. I didn't really need to pack much because I kept a bag that was always packed but I grabbed my stuff animal, Robert, and my clothes, hair brush and the other essentials I needed. I got in my bed and stared at the ceiling knowing I wasn't falling asleep tonight.

.·*morning time*·.

I heard three knocks and saw Ms.Lili come into my room. "Morning! So the boys that way to adopt you are here. I made sure that they same early so that the others don't think they might get adopted." I giggled at her. "okie! I'll get dressed and I'll be downstairs in a few minutes." "alright I'll tell the boys!" "wait Ms.Lili what do you mean by boys?" "oh yeah. A group of seven boys want to adopt you or one wants to adopt you and the rest will be your uncle's I'm unsure but I'll ask." then Ms.Lili walks down the stairs and I sit there confused in my thoughts. About a few minutes later, I snapped out my thoughts and got dressed. I put on a red hoodie and some ripped jeans and left my messy brown hair down because I was to lazy to do anything to it. I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs to see seven Korean boys. I of course didn't understand a word they said due to me only knowing English. But Ms.Lili of the other hand knew Korean and English. I awkwardly stood there and no one noticed me. Then the super tall one noticed me and came up to me , "Hello I'm Namjoon and me and my um... friends want to adopt you. But um you could call us your brothers" he told me in English. "Hi!I'm Avid Charles I'm 13 and yeah I'd love it if you'd adopt me."
