I am done. Completely done. Sometimes people just reach their breaking point, and I have surpassed that point. He has no idea why I am home earlier than expected, Sargent Davis has ordered me on maternity leave, meaning I am carrying Liams second child. I expected to come home and suprise him, not to find some girl in our bed.

"An-" He tries to say but I cut him off by holding my hand up in front of his face.

"How will you explain this to Lynn? You are her father, you should be one of the most important people in her life." I calmly say. I can't let him get a rise out of me. Everyone knew, they knew and never thought to tell me, his wife. They would look at me with pity in their eyes, or they would come up to me and try to help me out. In the three years I have lives here, nobody has ever even glanced my way. God I feel so stupid.

"Please let me explain-" He tries again

"Explain what? How you have been cheating on me for the entirety of our marriage? Why you kept it from me for that long? How you kept it from me for that long?" His mouth hangs open gaping. "I thought so."

Liam reaches towards me and I cut him off once again, "Don't touch me, with the hands you touched her with," I say while slapping his hand away. "Who was she?"

He hesitates and finally says the name "Claire."

Those were the six letters I was dreading. My own sister did this to me. My own husband did this to me. They did it to their own family. I was always there for her, I gave her a house to live in, I gave her everything when our parents died.

"How long has it been Claire?" I force her name out. He looks down, the turns to walk away. Oh no, he's not getting away this easy. "How long?" My soon to be ex-husband falls to his knees and starts crying, and begging for forgiveness. He grabs both of my hands and holds them like his life depends on it.

He became a blubbering mess, and said something along the lines of "5 years." No. I am done with his apologies. I knew he had cheated before, and he told me he was a drunk mess and she forced herself upon him. I had believed that story too many times. But to think it was Claire, my own flesh and blood. It makes me livid.

I pull my hands out of his roughly and walk away. I walk down the hallway, the one I had been so happy with. Our kids were supposed to run down it. They were supposed to play, to fall, take their first steps, they were supposed to be kids. Our daughter will never know these hallways like I would have wanted her to.

I snap out of my daze and force myself to pack. Turning left I enter my old bedroom, the one I shared with my husband and grab the stack of cash I hid in the dresser. Turning around I grab a duffel bag from the closet, it is a dark green and that bag has saved my life multiple times. Packing a few changes of clothes and my laptop, I go across the hall to my daughters room.

Looking around, it brought me to tears. She would never see this room again, the one she was practically born in. It was decorated like the night sky, curtains that were the constellations, bedspread of the galaxy and the walls had the solar system. All in all, it was my favorite room in the house. Lynn will never know this room like she would have. Of course there will be pictures, and faint memories, but it will be nothing like the real thing.

Hey Ya'll. So this is the first chapter, and I am in desprate need of an editor or spelling lessons. I understand there will be many questions, and they will all be answered in the next few chapters. My updating thing will vary week to week, but there will always be a new update every Monday, if not before.
