LILY MARLENE MARY DORCAS sat perched on Avery's bed, it was already 6:45 as Avery yelled frustrated from the bathroom, the girls had become quiet the group after dinner they made their way back to the common room where they sat up until 1am talking away, avery never really had any friends so it was refreshing to have girls her own age to talk too they were all so welcoming and avery for once felt in place

Avery it isn't that bad" Avery scoffed at Lily's words gesturing up and down with a duh expression
"yeahhh— lily it looks terrible" Marlene said Avery should have never trusted her brothers to buy her clothes The uniform made her look like someone from the eighteenth century ,the skirt practically touched her calves the shirt was so baggy that it looked as if Avery could drown in it avery let out a agitated scream she looked ridiculous and every bit of trust she had for her brothers was gone
" ok ok aren't we wizards isn't their like— a spell to I dunno fix it ?" Avery exclaimed trying to calm herself down she looked at the girls pleadingly
Lily thought for a moment before her hand flew up she grabbed her wand from her beside table " right turn around " Avery nodded being into a smile doing as she was told Lily gave a wave of her wand, like that the skirt became shorted reaching Averys lower thigh the blouse became tight a little too tight for the dress code
Avery wandered over to the Mirror praying she looked aleast alright luckily the uniform looked better by miles she beamed at the girls " this do" she turned to lily nodding thankfully god the power of magic
"now let's get this first day or wizarding done " the girls chuckled at avery as she bounced up " did you read up on the spells mcgongall left you " Avery turned to them with a look of pure cockiness as she lifted her wand " lumos " quickly a light erupted from her Wand, Avery smugly smiled
