Part 1

Before reading this you need to know a few things about this story.

1. It is a completed story with 20 plus parts with an epilogue. I wrote it in 2013.

2. It is one of the very initial stories of mine when I started writing and is unedited.

3. It is a bittersweet journey of ArShi of how they overcome the hurdles and differences between them after their contract marriage period finishes.

Arnav entered RM in a disheveled state late at night.

Drenched from top to bottom. Eyes puffy red. Hands clenched at his sides. His heart heavy with only a certain voice still ringing in his ears.

'I will leave tomorrow Arnavji'

She has said that looking into his eyes defiantly yet brokenly. The finality in her voice scared him to the core and a fear gripped his heart.

Fear of loosing her.

What will he do without her?

Will she really leave him?

How could she?

Didn't she know that he will be restless without her?

Didn't she know that he can't live without her?

He knew he had have done a mistake-mistakes to be precise. Of misunderstanding her. Of not confronting her. Of not trusting her enough even though he claimed to have loved her. He knew it all but couldn't she give him a chance to mend all his wrong doings?

He was ready to do anything. Anything to mend it all up. To make up for all the tears she has shed because of him.

He was not asking for forgiveness dammit. Rather it's only a chance he was seeking for. He will earn forgiveness with time. But she was not understanding. At all.

She was adamant to leave him. But he will not let her go that easily.

Call him selfish or a coward for that but he can't let her go just like that because she has become his life, his reason to breath in these six months of their contract marriage.

Contract marriage!

That's the reason of all the mess he was in right now. If he hadn't married her by forcing her into this sham marriage. Then maybe, just maybe she would have found it in herself to give him at least a benefit of doubt.

Above all he didn't even tell her anything of why he married her and she lived in a living hell in all these months without knowing the reason why she was subjected to this punishment.

She begged him every time to at least tell her 'WHY' he did all this.

She asked him this whenever he lashed out at her for no reason just to vent out his frustration and anger on her.

Frustration because he thought she loves someone else not him and anger because he still couldn't stop loving and caring for her after all what she did to his sister.

But now--now he knows the truth. The whole truth.With proofs.

He was wrong. He knew. That too for the first time in his life.
