*Deep into the woods*

*Kel's Perspective*

"Hey! Hey kid wake up" A light voice whisper shouted nudging my face.

"Hey wake up" The same voice said again but louder. My eyes finally opened this time, revealing a man looking over me.

"Good your not dead" The man spoke as he moved away.

"What happened?" I spoke quietly.

"You were brought to the cells and chained. I was told by the former Alpha and Luna to take you with me, since your *mate* decided to hate you and reject you for being an omega." The man said as he shrugged.

"oh..." My voice wavered.

"Sooooo, kid what's your name?" The man asked me looking at me.

"My name Is Kel" I told him.

"Well Kel my name is Eli. You and me are now on the run from the pack. But it will be hard for them to find us because our scent is obscured due to the woody area." Eli said with a matter-of-fact tone.

"Oh..that's good, right?" I asked sitting up.

"Yes Kel, that is really good" He replied smiling.

"Okay" I said as stood up and shifted into my wolf.

"So why were you put in chains? You don't seem to be a traitor type?" he asked as I limped to him

*Well the reason they found me was because yesterday was the new alpha's 18th birthday meaning he would become alpha of the pack and meet his mate and unfortunately I was his mate* I said subconsciously in his mind.

"Wait I thought It was impossible for an Alpha and omega to be mate's?" My wolf perked up as he spoke aloud.

*It is, so he thought it was a mistake* I sadly told him.

"Wow so you were rejected?" Eli asked me with empathy in his tone.

*Yes* I replied back with some anger and sadness. I could hear my wolf in the back of my subconscious mind crying out.

"Everyone knows that when a mate is rejected our wolves die unless the mates accept each other" Eli said as I walked behind a tree and changed back to my human form.

"Yeah, so I don't know what's going to happen" I spoke nonchalantly.

"Well since we are masked we could go to the city and stay there until we find a better place to be?" Eli asked while walking ahead.

"Okay let's go" I said as I quickly followed behind Eli.

*Ean's perspective*

"Beta get all of the un-mated females in the pack and bring them to me. I'll just make one of them my Luna" I sighed out.

"Yes sir, I'll do it right away" My Beta responded.

"I'll be in the basement. So once you have all of them call me." I said with anger in my voice as I thought about how the moon goddess had made a mistake with me and the omega.

*Basement*

As I slammed the door to the cells, all went quite as I walked in to see the omega had escaped.

"WHAT HAPPENED" I screamed in my Alpha voice with blood red eyes beaming at all the people in the cells till I got to my mother and fathers cell.

"What Happened" I shouted at them, watching them quiver in fear.

"A...a Traitor escaped And took the boy" My mother said as she quivered in fear.

"WHERE DID THEY GO" I shouted again.

"Th...they went through the window," she cried as she pointed to a small window about 7 feet above the ground.

"When" I asked with a sinister calmness.

"10 minutes after you left last night"

"Thank you both. Guards, let them out of here and take them to their rooms" I calmly spoke as the look of a sinister smirk crossed my face.

"Yes sir" His voice wavered as he bowed his head to me.

*Upstairs*

"Alpha here are all the women that are un-mated." my Beta said as he looked at all the women.

"Good" I deadpanned as I scanned the line of women before me.

"If you are younger than 16 leave" I spoke as seven women got up and left.

"If you are older than 27 leave" I spoke noticing only about five women were left. As I scanned the room of women, one of the most famous of them all was the Packs slut. Amelia. I looked her up and down to see if she would be a decent Luna until I find my real mate.

"Amelia come here" I beckoned her with a smile on my face.

"You will be the new Luna until I find my real mate" I said in a calm voice.

"Also Amelia, dump your boyfriends." I told her matter-of-factly.

"Yes Alpha" she replied in an almost gleeful tone.

*Kel's perspective in the City*

"Ugh I'm hungry" I spoke with pain as I could feel my stomach eating me

"I have some money in my bank account that I've been saving, so I think we can go get something to eat" Eli smiled.

"Okay." I smiled back.

*Dinner Time*

"We will have to stay in a hotel" Eli told me as he took a swig from his soda.

"That's fine with me," I replied and quickly went back to eating my supreme burger.

"Slow down kid, your going to choke" Eli told me with a pointed look.

I'm not going to ch-" I said pretending to start choking.

"See" he said in a deadpanned tone, getting up and coming behind me.

"I'm fine, I'm fine!" I giggled after swallowing my food then started laughing at him.

"Wow I can't believe I fell for that" Eli laughed.

"Okay I get it" Eli smiled but with an angry tone as I still laughed at him.

"Okay I'll stop" I was still smiling though.

"Well if you are done I will go pay and then we can go" Eli told me as he stood.

"Can we find a hotel closer to the outside of the city?" I asked him.

"Sure why not. We will have to get out sometimes" Eli laughed and walked outside with me.

"Okay" I said with a smile as the restaurant's doors closed behind me.
