The castle was silence, all the room were dark, not a single candle was lit. It was a truly terrifying atmosphere. All the inhabitants of the castle had gone to their quarter far before the darkness had set. It was the least that the little girl had thought.

Black hair, beautiful yellow eyes, and a fragile skinny body. The 5 years old girl walk amongst the darkness, looking for her parents. Her eyes glowing in the darkness, allowing her to see in the pitch black of the hallways.

"Rara? What are you doing here?"

The girl turned to the source of the voice. Stood a tall boy, taller than any other boy. The girl couldn't see his face, nor if it was there in the first place. She could only see a blank white face, it had a furrow where eyebrow was supposed to be. The urgency and worries in his voice was evident.

"I'm looking for mama and papa."

The boy walked closer to the girl, crouching in her level. Even without the facial expression, she could read all the disapproval he gave out.

"Your mama and papa are still busy. You'll see them in the morning."

The girl shook her head.

"It's storytime."

"I'll read it for you."

Once again, she shook her head.

"Mama and papa promised. They say they'll read it for me tonight."

With that word, she shook herself free out of his grasp and quickly run away. The boy stumbled and run after her, but she was nowhere to be found.

"Dang it. She can't find them now. Not this time."

--------------------------------

"Mama? Papa? Are you here?"

The girl sighed once again as she found another empty room. She had been knocking rooms after rooms, looking for her parents. So far, all she had found was empty rooms. Disappointment had tried to stop her from looking moments ago, but determination pushed her to continue searching.

Not long later, she heard a distant voice. It was her parents, seems like they are shouting and arguing. What may they be arguing about? Or are they just playing and have a lot of fun?

Walking toward the voices, she could hear it. It came from her parents' room. She could now hear it was arguing. Taking a peek from the door, she looked inside the room. She could see her father and mother, each was quite angry judging from their facial expression.

--------------------------------

"She can't be a monster like you! She's too kind for your role!"

Her father runs a hand across his red auburn hair. His other fist already had a crackle of fire in it, ready to burst into fire at any moment. Her mother continues to screaming as her midnight hair slowly began to flow around. The girl would've played with it if it wasn't because of the situation.

"So now you're calling me a monster?! She's my child, she can as well be a monster then!"

"She's not like you! She may be your child, but she is nothing like you!"

Who do they mean? Are they talking about her? Why are they fighting about her?

"She could be like me one day. You just never teach her anything useful!"

"Oh. So, you're saying I'm a bad teacher?! At least I'm better than a soulless and heartless demon then!"

That words make her father snap. Quickly, her father took a grab of her mother's slender throat. His hand now burning in anger and hatred, leaving a burn mark, a painful one. The girl witnesses her mother choking on the grip, moving wildly as she tries to pry off the grip from her throat. Yet, it was pointless as the grip around her neck only gotten strong.

Not long later, her hands started to grow weaker. Then it both fall limp on her sides, as her eyes went dull.

The girl witnessed it all, the death of her mother and how her heartless father had killed her. Slowly and terrifyingly, she back away into the darkness. Her little body disappears as she slowly got consumed by the shadows.

Not a moment later, she found herself in her 'brother' room.

"Slendy?"

The boy from previous pop up from the bed. Seeing his 'sister' he quickly comes to her side. Thanks to his mind-reading ability, he knows of everything she had witnessed beforehand. He had to admit, it was a truly terrifying experience if he was here he would've been as terrified.

"Is mommy dead?"

"Yes."

"Is daddy bad?"

"...Yes..."

--------------------------------

It was the last time that Slenderman had seen her 'sister'. By the next day, the girl was nowhere to be found. Zalgo, her father, was furious, but couldn't do anything.
