Time withered away the hurtful memories.

All the hurt fades away.

Strangely though i still feel it inside.

I still feel my heart beat out of my chest

At the mention of your name.

I thought everything would go back to normal

But now I realize I'll never be the same.

You're engraved on my heart

Your love remains with me.

You're always on my mind.

Maybe one day the memory

Will fade, but everything is left to time.

The hurtful memories are in the past.

But the other memories still last.

And to me they mean so much more.

They remind me of what we had.

They make me miss what we had.

And now I wish I had you by my side.

But that's not how it worked out.

Maybe all this will fade in time
