Sorry that this chapter is shorter, my mental health is shit rn and this is mainly just a filler. This will mostly be characters talking and shit so if you don't like that then don't read. Thanks.

You all entered the office. No one talked for the entire way back. You were okay with that though. You didn't like them anyway. What could a drunken grandpa and an Android have to say?

"Kay, kid. Connor and I will be going out. We will be back in an hour or so.", Hank said, adding "Not like a prick like you would care", under his breath.
"Where you going to?"
"Lunch. What? You want to join us?
"No! I'm.. just hungry.."
Hank sighed, "Fine.. dont say anything though.. your voice is pissin' me off."

It was a long and boring car ride. Connor kept looking at you with the same stern look on his face. You let it happen. Maybe it would have been better if you had listened to him? Eventually, you snapped.

"Stop looking at me like that, ya prick!", you said. Connor turned to you after turning away. He was clearly startled but your yelling but he quickly regained his composure.
"You deliberately disobeyed my clear order. Why did you shoot? We could have gotten something out of it."
"Who cares? It was only one case.."
Connors voice stayed piercing and you were contemplating jumping out of the car.
"Y/N, you need to be professional! If I say to do something on a mission like that you do it." You were outraged. Androids are the humans slave. How dare he?
"Don't tell me what to do! I don't have to listen to you! You were built to serve humans and help with cases. Not order me about.", you raised your voice.
"Well it's hard to help on cases when an immature halfwit is running around!"
Silence fell over the car. Connor had never raised his voice let alone flat out insulted someone.
Hank mumbled, "He's got a point Y/N.."

You bit your lip. You knew they hated you but.. you never thought you would get it confirmed like this. Tears started to well up in your eyes but you quickly blinked them away. You can't cry, not in front of them. "When you get home you can bawl your eyes out,", you thought, "but now you need to keep it together."

Hank pulled up to 'Chicken Feed' which was the only place he could eat shit for free.
"You sure you wanna come, Y/N?", Hank turned his head slightly to ask. You didn't answer.

I would write more but I'm struggling with school and my mental health like I said before and I don't want people to give up on this story. My motivation is gone rn. Sorry. I'll continue this story in a week or something.
