Chapter twenty eight

               "What the fuck is this" Jake yelled while putting his arms around me, I held onto him with a death grip " who the hell are you?" Damian said i was looking up at Jake studying his defined jaw I brought my hand to stroke it" I'm the boyfriend... And you who the fuck are you" Jake said it in such a menacing manner... Boyfriend? Since when did I have a boyfriend. I turned to look at Damian" really if you really the boyfriend why haven't I heard a thing about you all night huh " Damian said the word boyfriend in a mocking manner " I don't have time for this shit.." Jake said while turning me to look at him " Em let's go home OK ?" Jake said wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me flush against his body, I liked the feel of his body close to mine but I remembered what made me mad at him in the first place , I tried to pull away from him and I mean the key word tried but in Jake's iron grip on me I don't think I can move an inch " no... I'm not going anywhere with, now you want me to come home with you when you don't even love me " I said surprisingly in a clear voice I could see Jake  resolve soften " baby of course I love you how can you even ...." He said while he release a sigh " we will talk about this at home of? Now come on" he  said while pulling me towards the exit " Wait" i yelled placing my hand on my Jake's arm, I turned to Damian while walking up to him I pulled him into a hug I felt his arms around me, while pulling away from him I whispered in his ear " thanks for keeping me company tonight I really had an amazing night all thanks to you" I said I looked at him I could see a smile on his face . he leaned in and placed a kiss on my cheek " if you get tired of this asshole come find me" he said I giggle. I felt Jake hand at the small of my back " come on" he said pulling me to the exit.
           Jake opened the door with his key, he walked in holding while holding the door wide open for me " come in" he said I walked in keeping my eyes away from Jake " go to you room I will get you some water" he said while closing the door and locking it, I wanted to argue with him for telling me what to do but I was too tired for it so I just went up to me room. I walked into my room  and went straight to my bed I took of my heels and laid on the bed while releasing a heavy sigh. The few minutes it took to get  home I was able to think and clear my head a little, I know Jake must be pissed no not pissed livid I could feel it on his hold on me or his occasional hard stares he gave me on our way here, I can't deal with his scolding now so I'm just gonna go to sleep.
                " don't even think about it" Jake said I looked up at him , he stood by the door holding a glass of water walking to the bed he sat down while placing the glass of water on the bedside table , he Searched through his pants and brought out a drug. He took my hand in his and placed it on my palm " drink this it will held with the headache" he said while grabbing the water, I took the water from him and drank it he watched me until I finished the water , he took the glass from me and placed it on the table .
          There was an uncomfortable silence that envelopes us I could feel his stares but I did want to look at him " Emily look at me" he said I shook my head . I wont look at him, " look at me" he said in a hard voice  slowly I turned to him, looking into his eyes all I could see wasn't anger but pain he was hurt and I cause it " I know you must have been hurt when I said no to divorcing Rose right?" He asked " yes" I said in a whisper " but I had my reason but you didn't even give me a chance to tell you you just stormed out in such a scandalous dress saying such things to me before you left and I was hurt and disappointed " he said I know I'm disappointed in me too.
              " Emily rose was the one who saved me from myself" he said I looked at him in shocked " what do you mean?" I asked " before I met rose I used to be a Playboy and a party animal, going to club, drinking , taking hard drug after I lost my grand parents in a car crash I was so lost, they were all I had and then I lost them.." He said in so much pain " what about you parents?" I asked softly I could see it was a sensitive topic for him he scoffed " I don't know and I don't care.. Does bastards left me with my grand parents when I was a few days old , the said they didn't want the responsibility of a child to ruin there lives... I met  rose at the club, we got closer and she made me see a therapist that's why I was so patient with her cause I owe her my life and then I met you"
          I looked away from him I can't even look at him I'm so ashamed of my self I can't believe I was selfish and he went through so much , I didn't even know I was crying until felt him wipe away my tears " hey baby don't cry I didn't tell you this to make you bad I just told you so you could understand why I was hesitant " he said pulling me into his arms " I know I'm so sorry Jake I didn't mean  any of those things I said to you, I just I love you so much so that when I asked you to divorce rose the way you hesitated just hurt me I was scared that you love her more and you where just using me so." He pulled away and grabbed my face in his hands" I LOVE YOU, OK no one else only you, I guess I feel out of love for rose for a while now but you just opened my eyes to it" I smiled, I placed a soft kiss on his lips  " I love you too" I said " um Jake can I ask you a question?" I said " of course" " how did you know where I was?" I asked he chuckled nervously " actually I followed you when you left, so when you went into the club and the bartender flirted with you and the that guy walked up to you i saw everything but i didn't want to interrupt i knew you where made at me so I just decided to watch from a far but when you started dancing with him and he started touching you I lost it, no one touches you like that " he said his words left me shocked " wow" I said he chuckled " yeah"  .
        " baby, what you said about rose is it true? I mean her cheating and all" he asked I looked away from him " yes its true... I didn't mean to tell you like that, I wanted to find out more but.. Well it happened so " " how do you know that she is cheating?" He asked " well when I got back from college on Friday I walked in on her conversation, she was on the phone and she was using the words baby and honey at first i thought it was you but when she mention another name I knew it couldn't be you" I said " whose name did she mention?" He asked " James" I said " What!"
