Hunger Awaits (Completed)

Chapter 20

I laid there in his arms and I couldn't have been more at peace. Matto was sleeping soundly and I looked up at him and just watched him. Last night was so amazing. When we mated it was as if I was looking through his eyes. I saw how he saw me and how he felt for me. It was at that moment that I truly knew what it meant to be wanted and loved completely by someone. The feeling I got was one of tenderness and passion. Like he couldn't be away from me. I knew that I felt the same way. I slowly unwrapped myself from his arms and found his shirt lying next to us. I put it on and stood up and went in search of my clothes.

   I took a better look around at the little cabin that was going to be ours. It wasn't as big as the cabin we were at now,  but it was perfect for just us. The place was amazing with its hand-carved design and perfect view. I found my dress, well pieces of my dress. What the heck? I thought to myself. It was then that I realized when I shifted I felt the dress tear off of me. "Damn it," I said, as I put the pieces of the dress in the trash.

"What's wrong love?" His husky voice was behind me and I felt his arms wrap around my body. I leaned my head back against his solid chest.

"I have no clothes," I said holding up a piece of my dress. He chuckled. "It's not funny," I said smacking his chest.

"I know love, but it kind of is. We all have had the problem. Lucky for you, I thought ahead." He walked back into the room and returned with some of my clothes.

"How did you know that I would even shift?" I asked him as he handed me my clothes. He smiled at me.

"I didn't know for sure, but I had a feeling that once you relaxed and let the transformation happen you would." I smiled at him and then unbuttoned his shirt that I had on letting it drop to the floor.

"It didn't have anything to do with the fact that you planned on bringing me out here to seduce me now did it," I said to him as I walked closer to him. I pressed my naked body against his, as I wrapped my arms around his neck. I felt his breathing heighten, as he brought his lips down to mine.

"Maybe." He whispered out just before our lips crashed together. Our kiss was intense and I could feel my heart beating faster and faster. Would I ever be able to control myself when it came to Matto? I thought to myself. I heard something in the distance sort of a low whistle, Matto pulled away from me. I looked up at him and pouted.

He laughed. "Go get dressed. Tenaya and the guys are here and I don't think you want them to see all of you just yet." I shook my head and walked back into the room to get dressed. When I came back out Tenaya and the guys were all in the living room talking. Tenaya looked up at me as I entered the room and smiled.

"I know what happened last night welcome to the family." Her soft voice entered my head. I giggled to myself, this was going to take some getting use to.

"Alright beautiful we have a few things to do today, but we will be back later. You girls can do whatever you want." I looked up at Matto and smiled.

"Actually, I have to go to work." He looked down at me confused.

"I didn't get a chance to tell you, but I got a job in town at the little cafe we ate at yesterday. It's just a small mom and pop place but I think I will love it there."

Matto flashed me one of his perfect grins. "Ok beautiful. I will let the boss know that you found a job. Here you can use the truck. Just be careful and have a good day." I hugged him and grabbed the truck keys. Tenaya followed me out and we hopped in the truck.

"See I told you everything would work out." She said as we headed back over to the other cabin. I smiled at her.

"Thank you, Tenaya. You actually have helped me a lot." She laughed.
