i thought you were sweet,
you thought i was sweeter.
i thought you were the one,
and you thought that too.
the garden was filled with rosebuds
smelling like spring.

then summer came.
our garden blossomed
and became the prettiest thing
we both ever saw.
but summer doesn't last forever.

autumn was just around the corner.
the cold winds tore our garden apart
creating cold distance between us.
it rained until winter
when all our roses faded
together with our love.

i still remember the sweet smell
that surrounded our garden
and i'm praying for spring to come
so that our garden can blossom once again.
