(Ethans pov)

I smiled, as held my new girlfriends hand down the hallway.

I still can't get over the fact that she is actually mine.

"Ethan?" Her small voice rings through the parking garage as we walk to her car.

"Yeah?" I asked sweetly.

"Do you think you could help me film a video?"

She smiles at me, as I open the door to the passenger seat for her.

"Of course, Em."

"Thanks, babe."

A shiver washes over me, as she calls me that.

"Where too?"

"Hmm? Target? And coffee too." She mumbles.

I smirk at her, and she rolles her eyes. Playfully swatting my shoulder.

I keep my eyes on the road, but catch glances at her when I can.

She's beautiful.

The car ride was mostly silent and shw pouts when we roll up to target.

"What?" I ask her, with a smile.

"You said coffee. E, it's way to early."

I giggle, taking her hand in mine. "I'll take you out after this, but first we need a few things here."

She nods to me, a little reluctant.

I can't help but kiss the pout off of her face.

We step out of the car together into the california sunshine and into the store hand in hand.

After walking down many iles, and buying the things we needed we finally left.

Emma practically dragged me out of the store, talking about how she was barley staying awake and needed coffee.

So of course, I had to get my girl coffee.

••••

Emma pulled me into a kiss after she brought the warm cup of philz to her lips.

"Thank you." She said to me.

"Your welcome."

Her lips parted into a smile as we exited the drive through.

My heart skipped and I barley kept my eyes on the road as I looked at her.

It had only been a few weeks but still whenever I see Emma, I forget to breathe.

"Anything to see you smile, Em." I replied to her.

She rolled her eyes, obviously annoyed with the cheesy sentence I had just spoken.

Then something had washed over her and her eyes sparkled for a split second.

I pulled onto the freeway, and as I did I saw her blushing.

Usually Emma was sarcastic and funny, which were all amazing things that I loved about her. But I had changed her, I had made her want to be more sweet and romantic.

Which if you know Emma, you probably couldn't imagine that.

"Mine is nothing." She spoke.

"Em, what?"

"My smile is nothing compared to how cute yours is."

I blushed slightly, and let out a smile.
A shade of light pink was forming on her cheeks and she smiled.

"Thanks babe."

I took her hand In mine, and squeezed it three times.

It was an old trick I learned, to squeeze someone's hand three times if you want to tell them that you love them.

Woah.

Love.

I smiled to myself, the golden glow of the setting sun had cast a gold glow on my beautiful girlfriend.

She was stunning and amazing.

"Eyes on the road, Goofball."

And perfect. In her own way.

And I was completely and utterly in love with her.

And at that moment, in the car in the golden sunlight with her hand on mine, I was in love with her.

I was sure of it.
