(Ethans pov)

We have been driving for 4 hours, James and Grayson are passed out in the back seat.

My eyes find Emma's, my hand is grazing her thigh and I can tell she is blushing even in the darkness.

I let out a yawn.

"Do you want me to drive?" She asks me quietly.

"No, just talk to me." I say to her. "So, I don't fall asleep"

She giggles.

"I'm not very interesting." She says, looking down at her lap.

We talk quietly so Grayson and James don't wake up.

I notice the way the stars shine in her eyes.

"Are you kidding? Em, your very interesting." I say.

I rub my thumb over her hand, getting distracted with the way her hand fits so perfectly in mine.

I'm falling fast.

"Thanks." She smiles.

"You know, I love this side of you."

"What do you mean?" She asks, looking into my eyes.

"Your calm side, I can tell your really vulnerable in it." I tell her honestly.

She blushes.

"Yeah, I'm afraid of showing certain sides of me, like maybe I won't be enough for people if I'm not funny all the time." She explains.

I'm falling so damn fast for this girl.

"Well, I mean to me I think your amazing all the time. But I understand."

"Thanks, E" she says. "This is nice."

I laugh.

"The stars make your eyes really pretty."

I realize what I said and turn a deep shade of red.

What is happening to me.

"Wow, your very cheesy." She laughs. "But thank you, Ethan."

I can feel her taking my hand and squeezing it slightly.

She is looking at me, staring at me like I'm a painting.

"Em?" I ask quietly, glancing between her eyes and the road.

"Ethan, I.. Uh.." She pauses, I can tell she is struggling to tell me something.

"Woah, hey guys!" Grayson says, waking up.

Emma breaks her gaze on me and laughs out loud.

"Were almost there guys!!!" She says.

I laugh.

I have officially fallen for Emma Chamberlain.
