during western civ my professor kept talking about how the end justifies the means and it actually made class bearable

Phoenix:
-the dark age of the law was all around him, practically forcing itself into your case
-it all came down to the moment he forged evidence to prove your innocence and combat the dirty deeds of the prosecution
-it almost hit him all at once, he nearly went insane when he realized he screwed up. It was too perfect, the evidence he created. Too convenient.
-he lost his badge, you lost your freedom.
-he waited for you, constantly visiting you and doing anything in his power to make you smile even once

Edgeworth:
-he knew he was good at his job, but damn
-okay all joking aside he would actually start questioning whether you actually committed the crime
-he knew he needed to trust you, but the court came to the logical conclusion that it was you
-he still visited, but there seemed to be a barrier that went up between the two of you

Apollo:
-he would actually start tearing up, blaming himself for the verdict
-if only he worked harder, if only he found better evidence, if only he pressed the witness harder...
-he almost forgot to go comfort you, he was too distracted by his own thoughts
-before you had to go, he gave you the biggest hug ever, promising that he'd wait for you
-every time he visited, he would give you a warm smile but always seemed nervous

Klavier:
-did his best to hold it in but nearly broke down when he saw your disappointed face
-he knew you were innocent. Why couldn't he just prove that instead?
-visited you whenever he could
-tried his best to not show you how much he truly needed you with him

Kristoph:
-it was simple. He knew what he was doing.
-he didn't believe in your innocence, so he didn't prove your innocence
-when you were being taken away, he gave you one final smile
-after you were gone, he thought everything was perfectly fine, but time had passed and he just felt empty
-after months, he finally visited you. Just seeing you again made him wish he protected you. He finally believed in you.

Blackquill:
-he immediately blamed himself but for different reasons
-he had the same tough luck, so why did he think that you were going to get out Scott-free?
-his mind was constantly on overdrive as soon as it settled in that you weren't going to be around for a long time
-he wanted to visit you as often as possible, but he also knew that this experience was going to strengthen you, so he didn't want to hold you back from learning and growing

Godot:
-his throat felt tight, his heart sunk, he was just a wreck
-he could tell exactly who had tried (and succeeded, apparently) to frame you, but it wasn't his job to prove that anymore
-with the bailiff trying to keep him away, Godot gave you the biggest bug he possibly could before you were removed from the courthouse
-he visited you regularly, about once a month, and he would try to constantly keep the mood light by telling you stories or letting you get anything off your chest

Hello, everyone! I have a bit of a life update if anyone is interested in reading it.
Spring break just started, and writing has been put on the back burner for now. I've been doing a bunch of things I haven't had the time to which I am super thankful for, but it's been making me really busy. Also, I know a lot of authors I read have been giving prom updates and whatnot so here's mine: I asked a boy to go (as friends) about a month ago, and he literally didn't give me an answer. He acknowledged the fact that I asked him, then he proceeded to completely ignore it. I guess that's a hard pass, rip me. But I have my dress and shoes and everything, and I'm actually pretty happy with the way it looks. It's weird acting super girly for the first time in a long time. But hey, other than that, I've been really good. I made it into the school's talent show with my dance cover of NCT's Boss (I'm the only dancing act in this uncultured, small town), and I think I'm ready to perform that. Wish me luck!
How are all of you doing? I'd love to hear from you:)
