Chapter 38: The Wedding! part 3

Start from the beginning

"Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may kiss the bride."

I pull in Dia in and we kiss. It's not a soft kiss, but an excited, passionate, hungry kiss.

"Please welcome Mr. And Mrs. Luvano!" We exit and walk into the area, where we wait for photos to be done.

After photos Dia says she is changing into her reception dress. She comes back wearing, basically the same dress only in black, and without the train. She has a mask on, and hands me one as well.

"Ready Mrs. Luvano?" I smirk at her.

"Yes my dear Husband." She blushes. I made her blush again!

We walk in, and I hear a man singing.

"I see Caleb started on cue." Dia raises her eyebrow to me.

Then I hear its Vergin Tutto Amor.

"Your brother knows Italian?" She giggles.

"No, but he can sing Italian. He actually speaks Russian. He is an opera singer." I forgot she told me that he sang. He is amazing. He is singing with a mic.

"He is amazing!" I whisper. Everyone is standing and clapping for us.

Caleb finishes, and steps down.

"Would the mother of the bride and the bride please join us on stage?" I hear someone speak.

"What's going on Kitten?" I whisper to her. We just got seated.

"You'll see." She winks at me.

Her mother and her join at the stage, in front of the DJ table. I hear music start play.

"There's two things I know for sure
She was sent here from heaven,
And she's daddy's little girl.
As I drop to my knees by her bed at night,
She talks to Jesus, and I close my eyes.
And I thank god for all of the joy in
My life, but most of all, for

Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer.
Stickin' little white flowers all up in her hair.
"Walk beside the pony
Daddy, it's my first ride."
"I know the cake looks funny,
Daddy, but I sure tried."
Oh, with all that I've done wrong,
I must have done something right
To deserve a hug every morning,
And butterfly kisses at night.

Sweet sixteen today,
She's looking like her mamma
A little more every day.
One part woman, the other part girl.
To perfume and makeup,
From ribbons and curls.
Trying her wings out in a great
Big world. but I remember

Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer.
Stickin' little white flowers all up in her hair.
"You know how much I love you daddy,
But if you don't mind,
I'm only gonna kiss you on the cheek this time."
Oh with all that I've done wrong,
I must have done something right.
To deserve her love every morning,
And butterfly kisses at night.

All the precious time
Ohhh like the wind, when the years go by
Precious butterfly
Spread your wings and fly

She'll change her name today.
She'll make a promise,
And I'll give her away.
Standing in the bride room
Just staring at her,
She asked me what I'm thinking,
And I said "I'm not sure,
I just feel like I'm losing my baby girl."
Then she leaned over and gave me

Butterfly kisses, with her mama there
Sticking little white flowers all up in her hair
"Walk me down the aisle daddy, it's just
About time"
"Does my wedding gown look pretty Daddy?"
"Daddy don't cry"
Oh with all that I've done wrong,
I must have done something right
To deserve her love every morning,
And butterfly kisses
I couldn't ask god for more, man, this is
What love is
I know I've gotta let her go, but I'll always
Remember
Every hug in the morning, and butterfly kisses" Diamond and her mom both sing.

"Now, with the grandmother of the bride, and the brides brothers please join" the DJ asks.

"This song is not a typical wedding song. However, it holds a place very special in my families heart."

"Swing low, swing low" Caleb starts.

"Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home
Coming for to carry me home" they all sing.

"I looked over Jordan, what did I see
Coming for to carry me home
A band of angels coming after me
Coming for to carry me home" Dia sings, and she is amazing.

"Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home" All of them sing together.

"Well If you get to heaven before I do
Coming for to carry me home
Tell all my friends I'm coming too
Coming for to carry me home" Her mom and grandma sing.

"Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home
Swing low, sweet chariot
Coming for to carry me home" They finish together.

Everyone claps. And Dia walks back to me.

"I didn't know you could sing like that." I explains

"I normally can't. That is just one of the few songs I can actually sing by myself." She explains sheepishly.

We all talk, eat, laugh and dance. There is a father daughter dance, mother and son dance. Dia danced with her dad, then her grandpa, then Tom. I was glad Tom walked her down the isle. He never got the chance to walk his daughter down the isle.

It's time for us to leave to our room. We leave for the honeymoon tomorrow, after gift opening. I'm giving her the fox then. She doesn't know it, but I'm taking her to Paris, then we are going on a cruise for two weeks. We will see have two days at each port, we have an entire day for her to be at the spa. I already booked her appointment. We are staying in a suite. She will love it. The fox is coming with us.

We make it up to our room, we are staying in the penthouse, because nothing but the best for my Diamond.
