Fragile

New is unpleasant..at first

    A police car just went passed us,and did nothing. I thought to myself 'policemen are so stupid' with a big grin on my face.

   I pull into little sister's school, and stop at the drop off. She will be in 3rd grade now, I study her face for a minute and realize how big she has gotten over the years. As she opens the door she says "bye sis, see you later" I give her a smile in return. I love Cloe to death,and I will protect her no matter what.

    I look down at my hands, working their magic in the kitchen sink, the lukewarm water makes little waves in the sink as I scrub the dish.

"Why aren't you at school" a harsh tone with a hint of pain questioned. I new it was my father the moment I heard his hitched breath as he got out of bed. He was standing in the doorway of the kitchen, waiting for a answer.

"I will go once I finish the dishes, plus I just missed first period it's not a big deal" I said with with a smirk on my face.
  He looked at me with sleepy eyes that were filled with self-pity
"Ok" he said in defeat
I started to question what I said, maybe I shouldn't have been so cocky. I give him a glance to show him in sorry, luckily he got the message. He headed to his bedroom at the end of the trailer, while I was washing down the countertop.
   I quickly grabbed my backpack, and headed to the door. Once I was outside fear shallower me down in one whole,as I look to the left and see a police car.
"God damit, fuck my life" I spit though my teeth with annoyance. I climb back up the steps into the house. I don't waste anytime going to my parents room.
   My father is sitting in his chair looking at his phone, as for my mother she is in their bathroom making weird sounds. I don't have time for this shit.
"Hide your shit, and get mom somewhere else, their back...again" I look at them in disgust and annoyance, but I can't help but feel pity for my dad. As he starts to collect his stuff and grab my helpless mom, I guide them to the backdoor. To our surprise there is two policeman right on the other side. Shit, fuck what the hell im I going to do now. Before I could open my mouth, they had my parents in handcuffs. Rage and defeat completely consumed me. This can't be happening, I have been protecting these two idiots all my life for what! For them to go to jail, uh fuck no I  think. I charge at the policeman that is going way to hard on my old man. I claw at his face and scream "No no no no no you can't you won't I won't let you take them. The officer has fear in his eyes with shock. Im so sick of this bullshit, I reach down to grab his gun,  unfortunately two men pulled me off of him. Each one having a good grip on my arms. I started flashing around screaming at the top of my lungs...im acting like a animal. I crashed to my knees with the two men still holding my arms tight. I watch my parents go into the police car, I catch a glimpse of my father's eyes and that was that I couldn't hold them back anymore. Tears run down my face in defeat...I lost them...I will never see them again.
