The Things Between Us

Chapter 1

I'm going to tell you guys a story of a boy. Not a perfect boy but has qualities of a perfect boy. He has trouble with certain things especially with this one girl.

So the boys name is Jacob and the girl he has a crush on is Vanessa. Jacob's best friend Jack is dating Vanessa's sister Valira.

Now the reason Jacob and Vanessa aren't together is because Vanessa doesn't feel the same way about Jacob. And the reason for that well I guess you can say its The Things Between Them.

That stops them from being together. Well your probably wondering what is the things between them that's stopping them.

Well thats what I'm here to talk about.

Ok so let's start off by saying there are five characters that are mainly about this story and the others you might here about are just extras.

There is Jacob, Jack,Vanessa,Valria, and Eli. Who are the main characters

Jacob's Point Of View

So I have a crush on my friend Vanessa. But as you may know she doesn't feel the same way. So I go through my high school year dealing with the fact she doesn't feel the same.

It hurts yeah but you know one day these feelings will go away... Well I think anyways. I wake up and brush my teeth, take a shower, get dressed and then go to school.

30 minuets later

Jacob: hey Jack

Jack: what's up

Jacob: ....ok so um

Jacob: J spit it out

Jacob: ok so....um you know...um.... Vanessa and all (gets cut off by Jack)

Jack: don't you think you should get over her ( he said a little concerned)

Jacob: yeah but.... ( gets distracted by Vanessa walking toward them)

Vanessa: hey guys ( she said with a big bright smile)

She so beautiful I want her so bad. He said in his head while bitting his lip. Jack taps him out if his thoughts.

Jacob: oh hey ( he said a little nervous)

Vanessa: you ok you seem like you were thinking about something? ( she said with another smile)

Jack: hey look its Valira ( he said as he walked toward Valria)

Why would Jack do that leaving me alone with her. He said in his head as he was panicking

Vanessa: J you need to chill its not so bad that we're alone right? ( she said a little confused)

Jacob: well I mean with everything that's been going on ( she cuts him off)

Vanessa: you mean with you liking me and stuff ( she said with a smirk)

Jacob: well yeah ( he lets out a little laugh)

Vanessa: ok so let's not make anything weird

Jacob: don't you think that will be hard ( he said a little confused)

Vanessa: no it won't since we both don't feel the same way about each other its not going to be weird unless you make it weird

Ok so um this just got really weird. He said in his head

Vanessa: hey are you listening ( she said a little upset)

Jacob: oh yeah..... ok so let's not make anything weird (he said with a nervous smile on his face)

Vanessa: good.... class is about to start so see you later ( she said with a little smile)

Ok so that went south really quick so now all I need to do is not make anything weird.... but how do I do that she's in half of all my classes. He gets cut off with a tap

Jack: dude you stay in your thoughts way time much (he said with a smile laughing a little bit)

Jacob: sorry its just so hard not to think about her ( he said with a little smile)

Jack: well if we don't get to class soon all your going to be thinking about is a detention (he said with a smirk)

Jacob: your right ( he said with a laugh)

After first period

Jack: hey listen I need the note for the test for 5th period (he said walking down the hallway with Jacob)

Jacob: yeah I'll give it to you during lunch

Valria: hey baby ( she said walking up to Jack and giving him a kiss on the lips)

Jack: hey baby (he said with a smile on his face)

Jacob: hey um (gets cut off by valria)

Valria: listen Jacob my sis is fine.... I dont think its cool what she is doing to you but I think you need to try to get over her (she said concerned)

Jacob: its just so hard ( he said with a tear in his eye)

Jack: V chill ( he said a little upset and concerned)

Valria: ok I have to go see you later bye ( she said a little sad)

Jack: hey J you ok ( he said concerned)

Jacob: yeah I'm fine ( he said lieing)

Jack: dude you don't have to lie ( he said a little more concerned)

Jacob: it's fine I'm good we have to go to class anyways ( he said emotionally)

It's lunch time

Eli: hey guys how have you guys been (he says as he sits down at there table)

Jacob: it's good I guess it can be a little better (he said a little disappointed)

Eli: is it about Vanessa again (he whispered in jack ear)

Jack: yeah (he said a concernedly)

Jacob: guys seriously it's fine ( he said with a fake smile trying to convince not only them but himself as well)

Jack: dude its ok if your not ( he said trying to reasure him)

Jacob: no! Its not ok your with the girl you love Eli has somebody everyone has someone but me! (He said a little mad and emotional at the same time)

Jack: J you ok ( he said really concernly and a little worried)

Eli: yeah you ok ( he said a little scared and surprised)

Jacob: no! (He said madly)

Jack: J lets go out side and talk about this

Jacob: no! Just leave me alone ( he said as he got up and left the table)

Valira: what happened with him ( she said as she was walking toward the table and a little confused)

Jack: nothing.... he just need some alone time ( he said lieing to her like nothing was wrong)

Why her why out of all people her why couldn't it been someone else. He said mad at himself in his head

Vanessa: their you go being in your thoughts again ( she said with a little madness in her voice)

Jacob: WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE YOU WHY NOT ANYONE ELSE! ( he said with an angry voice with tears coming down his face)

Vanessa: ITS NOT LIKE ITS MY FAULT YOUR FEELING LIKE THAT ( she said with a mad voice)

Jacob: WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE SO DAMN HOT..... WHY COULDN'T YOU BE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE ( he said with a mad voice more tears start to come down  his face)

Jack: WOAH WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE ( he said as he was walking and trying to calm them down)
