There is beauty in everything
Even in the silence and darkness
Ever since Mother and Father died, I have been forever alone. Well, mentally. No one cares anymore. I hate it. I hate them. I hate everything in this goddamn world.
Uh... I... guess I should introduce myself.
My name is Myles. Myles Alistair. I'm not your everyday guy. I'm a 19 year old wolf hybrid, born from a human.
Why am I a wolf hybrid, you ask? Even I used to wonder that myself.
Until Hunter, my big brother, told me. My father himself was a wolf hybrid.
But do you know what sucks? My brother is human. And I'm not. It's not fair... She just had to marry a wolf hybrid, didn't she...?
I hate this! Why?! Why am I alive?! Couldn't I just be normal?! Couldn't I just be human? Is that too much to ask for...? I guess it is...
Hunter doesn't give a single damn about me. If I get hurt, he wouldn't care. I would die for him, but... He wouldn't do the same. He says the most hurtful things to me.
"You shouldn't be alive"
"Why are you even alive? You monster"
"You should just be dead"
As much as I agree with that... It still hurts like hell.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I feel a pain in my head and wince. I slowly open my eyes to see Hunter looking down at me, coldly. "Oh... Hunter..."
"Get your ass outta bed right now."
"I'm not even in a bed..."
"Then get the hell up!!" He turns his head away from me. "Worthless brat." Then he walks off.
Yeah... This is normal. Nothing new. Who knows if he'll ever change...
He makes my whole world dark. I can't do anything about it... If it has to be this way... Then so be it.
As I get up, I let out a long sigh. "Get to work, jerk!" He yells. "Coming..."
"Any slower?"
"I said I'm coming!"
"You're such a pain in the ass... I wish you could just die."
I finally had enough of his painful words and comments. I shiver in anger and slowly walk towards him. He turns his head to me and smirks. "Ah? What's wrong, jackass?"
"Tell me... Tell me. What do you see in me? What do you have that I don't? Why am I so different that makes you so special?" He looks at me blankly. "There's a difference, Myles. Between you and me. I'm human, whilst you are not. You're nothing but a monster and-" Before he could finish his sentence, I punch him and knock him onto the ground. "Hunter. Shut up. Just because you're older than me doesn't mean you're better than me. I went easy on you because I respected you. However," I narrow my eyes at him, "I've finally grown sick of your words." He slowly turns his head in my direction, his eyes widened in shock. "If you ever say anything about me like that ever again, expect me to beat you to a pulp right then and there." He says nothing but looks at me in fear. "Understood?" He nods and crawls to his feet and runs away from me.
I look away, then I widen my eyes as I realise what I just did and said. I put my head in my hands and sigh. "He deserved it... Right... He deserved it..."
