Alfred can manage to be nice

America's POV:
I got up from the dinner table putting my plate in the sink, Japan has just made dinner and we ate together, "thanks for the food kiwi! It was delicious." "Well of course" it was a little late so I went back to the bedroom and got undressed then layer in bed and watched tv. Kiku came in and changed into cute pajamas and laid in bed with me  "aren't you cold al? Your shirtless." "Nah, I'm fine" he smiled and put his head on my chest and laid there "are you sleepy?" I asked "a little" I laughed quietly and kissed his cheek "well I'll turn off the tv ok?" "Ok." I turned off the tv and got all the way under the covers snuggling the small man "goodnight sweetheart." I said quietly "goodnight..." he dozed off in my arms drooling on me a bit, I didn't mind though. I fell asleep too holding him and far under the covers.
I woke up in the middle of the night and Kiku was sitting up at the edge of the bed "Kiku?" I said tiredly "h-hello" "you good?" I heard him choke back tears and put on a fake smile, I could still hear the trembling in his voice "don't worry about it..." "I'm worried" "it's just another nightmare"he said starting to cry again "aww baby, come here." He looked at me with a tired face, his nose and cheeks were pink and his eyes were wet "it's ok." He crawled under with me and hugged me tightly sobbing into my chest "don't cry! Shhhh, it's alright kiwi!" He wiped his nose and looked up at me trying not to cry "calm down, it's ok" I felt sad seeing him so upset and scared "Alfred..." he sobbed holding onto me "what was it that scared you? Another war dream?" He nodded and laid in my arms calming a little bit. "I'm sorry dude" I kissed his forehead and rubbed his back, "im so sorry I woke you up..." he said quietly "hey, it's ok! If you need to wake me up for any reason what so ever, you do it." I said firmly "thank you." "Mhm! That's my job!" He smiled at me and held onto me tightly "goodnight darlin, sleep well" "goodnight" he fell asleep quite quickly holding onto my arm and I comforted him to make him feel safe.
