The story goes:
Friendship is extremely important. It's core if you wish to own and have a Pokémon. After a meteor crashed down near Kanto, strange anomalies have been occurring with well loved Pokémon.
They began turning human. The Pokémon would share same physical characters as their animal forms, but instead of their bodies mocking that of an animal or object, they are in human body. Many Pokémon, later known as Pokéhumans, are required to be taught English/Japanese/Etc language around their area.
It has been noticed they can turn back into their Pokémon bodies for a limited amount of time. Average being an hour. Despite having human bodies Pokéhumans are able to use their counterparts/previous forms moves such as: tail whip, scratch, gust.
They keep their natures and animal characteristics. Purring, growling, howling, and cries are still able to leave their throats.
Their natures of Pokémon ranking on food chain remains. Cats chase rats, wolves hunt deers.
