Thousand Oceans

By Danyael Dedeles

Screaming waves overflowing the lonely night,

By the abstract darkness of the calm east shore.

Thundrous twilight we got here right?

Clouds that shatter on that night before

Rays of sun due to morning’s rise.

Tweeting birds surrounding the atmosphere.

Identical replica of that view you suffice;

The City of Atlantis hope would not cause tear.

Falling bomb of a nuclear holocaust,

Became the catalyst of this daily nightmare.

The only way to reverse is defrost,

The cold ice entangling the flaming sun out there.

Thousand Oceans dancing like Jackson,

Hitting left and right with opposition.

Should we go underneath these waves?

Or hide underneath those wavy shades?

Let us enter a world of an endless reach,

Of an eternal sea level with a silent breeze.

The simplest way is to open our eyes,

For light itself will soon just arise.
