"tell me I'm wrong
tell me girl tell me
be honest"

"tell me I'm wrong" she whispered. "Tell me, tell me be honest" she said a little bit louder this time. I just stood there trying to think of something to say.

"I know I'm not perfect, but" I paused. "But what" I saw her eyes glistening as she asked that. She tried to blink it away looking at me, waiting for me to continue, with no success.

As nothing more came out of my mouth she just turned around and left. "But I'm working" I whispered. "I'm working on it". A tear rolled down my hot cheek.

I looked after her, my stupid self should've ran after her. I felt so stupid and empty. I slowly walked over and closed the door. The door she just went through to leave. The door I should've passed to chase after her.
