The coast guard rushed over to reach the captain who had called for medical help immediately. When they arrived the rescuers were shocked beyond belief. This discovery was being recorded on video for further investigation later.
First responders used ice picks and drills to carefully extract the two children and boat without damaging or hurting them. You and Flame were both put into a medical helicopter and the boat and boxes that came with you into another helicopter.
In the medical helicopter the medics scrambled around for the proper equipment to hook you and Flame up to a heart monitor. Once you were hooked up to the heart monitor there was no heartbeat, as expected and your body was as cold as ice. The head doctor was going to declare you both dead but then a beep was heard.
All of the nurses and doctors eyes widened at what they were witnessing. How can a human child who was trapped in ice still be alive? Then another beep was heard. Flame's heart rate also started to make itself known to the heart monitor. The head doctor shook himself free of his shocked state and ordered the nurses and other doctors to help raise the body temperature.
It's been a week since you and Flame have been found; as of now the two of you are in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of a hospital. You were conscious, but not awake.—It's been a long time that I have been floating around in this abyss. I wondered if I'm dead, but I don't see anyone from the island here. Maybe this is a special death place I was supposed to go to.
Not long after your thoughts you opened your eyes and squinted them from the bright light. Sitting up, you looked around to notice that you were in a room that was completely white. You were confused and amazed by the technology around you; your people always knew humans outside of their island were more advanced, but chose to be closed off. You were calm until you noticed a weird metal line in your arm.
It was very uncomfortable so you immediately began trying to pull it off, but you couldn't get very far because a nurse walked in.
"Hello there, I see that you are awake." The lady in the white clothing said. You tilted your head in confusion and did not understand what she was saying. She tried talking again "Hola, cómo te sientes hoy?"
"Hello how are you feeling today?"
You still couldn't figure out what she was saying.

"Who are you?"
The woman seemed taken aback by the world you spoke and didn't know how to respond. There was a language barrier between you and the nurse so neither of you could communicate.
