After the battle of vale the decepticons became silent as for the autobots they rebuilt a new nest base as for atlas 2 it was upgraded a little bit and helped the autobots the best they could then one day optimus started having nightmares of a cybertronian killing everyone the only way he knew he could possibly stop this is if he confronted his creators

At the N.E.S.T 2 base

Optimus: autobots meet me in the control room

All autobots went to the control room to see optimus with his sword on his back

Arcee: optimus where are you going?

Ironhide: yeah what's up

Optimus: autobots I'm leaving remnant for I don't know how long

Crescent rose: but optimus what will we do without a leader

Optimus: I'm intrusting one of you may step up to be leader while I'm gone

Ember celica: then few of us will tag along

Optimus: no...this mission I must do on my own

Jazz: prime what's your mission

Optimus: to find our creators, I have questions for them and I endanger you all if I stay

Bumblebee: but prime who will be in charge

Hound: yeah prime there's gotta be someone

Optimus: the leader in my absence will be UltraMagnus

Gambol shroud: optimus there's something more to why your leaving tell us we're all family

Optimus: I wish I could but I cannot I must find answers before I can tell you all

Hotshot: just don't be gone to long

UltraMagnus: optimus permission to speak

Optimus: permission granted

UltraMagnus: what if unicron returns

Optimus: then you'll know what to do and tigatron?

Tigatron: yeah prime

Optimus: make sure no one does anything stupid and autobots

Autobots: yes prime

Optimus: when you look at the stars think of one of them...as my soul

Optimus walks out of the base and activates his rocket feet

Skids: has he always had that?

Optimus flies off and activates his battle mask

Optimus: this message is to my creators you remain a price on my head. There's mysteries that cannot be solved or why we're here on earth truthfully so know this leave planet remnant alone because I'm coming......for you

In space

A floating head flies through space to reveal unicron

Unicron: my return is inevitable those autobots and decepticons haven't seen the true force of my power but they'd better be ready for I'm coming for my revenge!
