"Kill him."

Grinning I grabbed the large dagger hanging from my belt. I grabbed the mans short hair and pulled up to revel his vonrable neck. Slowly I slid the sharp blade across his neck watching in pure satisfaction as he blead out a and died.

I turned to my master and bowed.

"Good boy. I have a mission for you. Details will be sent to your room. I expect you to be gone by tomorrow. Now off you go."

Bowing once more I returned back to my room.

My room was small and dirty. No decorations adorned the room. A small thin matris rested on the concrete floor.

Sighing I slumped onto my lumpy matris. A knock sounded at the door. "What?!" I growled threw clenched teeth.

A small boney man opened the door, he was shaking like a small dog, "The orders from the lord, sir." He creaked nervously handing me a small yellowing file.

Snatching the file, "Be gone with you."

Squeaking the man turned tail and ran. I smiled hearing his retreating foot steps.

Shrugging I opened the file to find a grainnny black and white picture of a tall smiling girl. I frowened and began to read the description.

'Target: Saphaira Jade.
'Features: Burnet, tall, wares darker colours, pale.
'eliminate family if needed.
'Target lives three days away. Dwells in a small house in forest by bend in river'.

This isn't my normal target. Shrugging I begin to prepare for the trek.

Two and a half days in I had yet to see signs of human life. Well that was before I heard a small girl giggle. I watched courously from my perch in a tree as a girl around five emerges, she had long curly brown hair, she wears a small white dress with a pink piece of fabric rapped around as a belt. Atop here head is a crown made of daisy's.

Chasing the giggle child was my target.

I grinned. What a perfect time and place to play games together.

As I drawed my bow my target grabbed the girl and began to tickle her, earning more laughter. "Come on, Daisey! You can do better then that!" Target laughed.

Just as I was going to release the eager arrow she paused looked up. And staired me dead in the eyes. Taking a shakey breath, "Daisey I need you to run and get mummy and daddy for me please."

The girl smiled, "Okey dokey!" She said before running off.

Her calm eyes turned back towards me. I tried to release the arrow, but something was holding me back. What is happening? I've never hesitated before.

A loud crashing pierced the clearing. Two adults ran in. "Where?" The female gasped.

Target  pointed up at me. I needed to destroy the target before I lose the chance. But I still couldn't realice the arrow. Slowly I loosened the taunt string of the bow and slower it to fall to the ground below. The people relaxed, thinking I was giving up.

Drawing the dagger from its hidden spot by my thigh I smiled. Looked at her and jumped.

Something intercepted, slamming to my side. I fell to the forest floor in a grunt and  roll. I sat still for a second before coming up to my feet. Something dripped down my side. I looked down to find I managed to slice right down the inside of my left arm. Blood was pouring by the leter.

My vision swum. I swayed. I wasn't going to survive. I needed to take down my target before I reached my end.

Stumbling I stood in front of my target and rapped  my hands around her pale throat and squeezed. Her eyes widened before I was pushed away by the man from earlier.

My vision had nearly been gone by this point. I swayed before giving in to death, I crashed to the ground.

Killed by my own hand and weapon. Master would be disappointed.
