Hangover
Daddy wasn’t feeling too good today
He had to stay home and in bed
I asked Mommy where was Daddy sick
Mommy said mostly in the head
She said Daddy was out celebrating
With some of his work friends
He got a promotion to manager
And felt a little sick at the end
I asked if he was going to be ok
Mommy said most defiantly
He just has a little hangover
And needs to sleep it off you see
So I crept into Daddy’s bedroom
And he was there snoring away
He didn’t look that sick to me
‘Cept he was sleeping during the day
I looked all over his body
At least all the parts I could see
Everything looked like it was normal
Nothing hungover that I could see
He looked like Daddy should look
No hangovers to be seen anywhere
I guess he had already slept it off
I looked around the bed, nothing to be seen there
So I shook Daddy to wake him
It didn’t take me that long
I told him that he should be better
It looks like his hangover is long gone
