My Daddy is an 'arc a tic'
He makes funny drawings of things
Like houses and garages and buildings
He even made one for my swing
Mommy says he's been working really hard
A very important drawing
He's hardly been sleeping at all
I guess that's why at dinner he's been yawning
On Sunday morning when I got up
Daddy was still in bed asleep
Mommy said he'd been up drawing all night long
And for me not to make a peep
So as quiet as I could I crept the hall
And went into Daddy's drawing den
There were papers all over the floor
I saw the big drawing then
It was the biggest one I ever saw
A tall building, so pretty, I had to grin
But to me it was missing something
So I got my crayons and coloured it in
I can't wait to see Daddy's face when he sees it
I only went outside the lines a couple times
It now looks like a rainbow building
I'm kinda proud of mine and Daddy's design
