Come back to me,
And relinquish that hound
Let me replace a smile on your frown,
And let me caress your hair— golden brown.

Let me touch your smooth, porcelain skin,
While your pouting lips turn into a grin
Till I touch your chin, glossy and soft,
And as I pinch your cheeks, so silky and fluff.

Come back to me
My voice echoing through
Hear my request as you slowly coo;
Rest your head till the slumber.

The echoes, you immediately ignore,
Whilst you find something clear and shallow
Come back to me— on the count of four,

No one showed up; I weeped on the floor.
