It was a terrible day that Wednesday in midmorning, with terrible humid weather and a terrible stress drowning out a very certain masked proxy who was trying to find a very important sheet of paper amongst the horror that was Slenderman's file cabinet.

One would think that the most horrifying aspect of a supernatural entity would be its very existence.

You would be wrong.

Apparently, it is their lack of ability to clean up after themselves.

Which would be fine.

Except it's not.

That is because Masky is always the one who draws the short end of the stick; stuck with the responsibility of cleaning up everyone else's mess.

If Masky had known that working under Slenderman entailed playing nanny to a mansion-full of whiny, high-maintenance children with knives and unquenchable thirsts for blood, he would have reread the fine print of his contract before tossing it into the recycling.

Slenderman wasn't quite the neat freak he boasts to be, you see. His perfectly tailored, snappy suit was pretty much just a ruse meant to distract people from the fact that he wasn't really the kind of guy who liked to be cooped up inside a small office in the middle of the woods. There was a time, in his earlier years of spooks and hauntings that he was actually extremely well-organized and a competent supernatural whatwasit.

Masky isn't sure what happened, but he was nothing if not loyal to his boss. (Unfortunately.)

And it was usually up to Masky, Slenderman's ever-faithful slave....er, proxy...to do all the work, organize the files, and to write out most of the kill lists assigned to the creepypastas every Wednesday on a weekly basis.

The pastas needed these lists to make sure that they weren't becoming too lazy and earned their right to reside in the Creepypasta Mansion.

But nevermind that splurge of backstory. Currently, Masky was still searching for his violently important file, unaware that he had forgotten something very important on this certain Wednesday.

So much more important than what he was looking for.

Masky slid open yet another drawer on the file cabinet, and let out a surprisingly girlish screech of surprise to find an elf crouched down against one of the metal sides, staring blankly into the glowing screen of a Nintendo DS, almost as if in a hypnotic trance.

At the very manly yelp of Masky, the elf jolted in his spot, hitting his dirty mop of blonde hair against his Nintendo screen, getting snapped from his trance and letting go of the gaming device. This caused a large bump to appear on the blonde's forehead, right smack inbetween his eyebrows, making him appear as if he were budding a unicorn horn.

A tiny unicorn horn.

The blonde elf shrieked in a voice just as manly as Masky's yelp, grasping at his throbbing forehead,"Sweet mother of- Masky! You shouldn't have done that!"
