"Florence, you know I don't feel safe with you going out with people I don't know." Juliette spoke as she peered around the door frame to view her daughter applying a burgundy lipstick.

"I know. I told them to swing by to pick me up. You're welcome to meet them then." Florence placed the tube back into a drawer and stood from the wooden chair. She removed her dressing gown and stood facing her closet. "Wine coloured or gold?" Florence asked her mother holding two dresses up.

"Gold if you have a black handbag."

Florence nodded and slipped on the dress. It touched mid thigh and fell with a v neck and spaghetti straps. She turned for her mother before receiving the all clear. Juliette made her way down the hall, leaving Florence to slide into her heels and grab the handbag along with her duffel bag.

As Florence left her room, there was a knock at the front door. Juliette opened it to reveal the smiling faces of Ophelia and Cassiel - Florence's truest friends. Behind them were a few faces she had never seen before. Juliette moved out of the door way and invited everyone inside.

Ophelia's cropped black hair swayed around her face as she moved to greet Florence who had just surfaced from the hallway. She was dressed in a velvet set, composed of a tight skirt and a cropped top.

While this exchange was taking place, Juliette turned her attention to the three faces she wasn't familiar with

While this exchange was taking place, Juliette turned her attention to the three faces she wasn't familiar with. "I don't think we've met before. I'm Juliette, obviously Florence's mother." She greeted the small crowd.

"I'm Astoria." the remaining girl said, stepping out from beside a tall boy to hug Juliette. "I only just met Florence through Harry." She pointed to the boy as he shifted his feet, raising his hand in a half wave.

Astoria was quite possibly the most beautiful girl Juliette had ever seen. Her outfit was striking red and patterned, setting it apart from the others. She'd tied a red ribbon around her neck, Juliette didn't know why but it worked.
