She can hear her breathing but that's about all she can hear. She looks away, her eyes suddenly stinging so hard. 

"Bluebell!" Bell hears someone shout but it's foggy "get to work!"

"Bell" this is closer. 

Erika walks over to her front and Bell looks up at her, her eyes red and filled with tears. 

Erika sighs sadly and looks away. There's nothing to be said. 

"Is it true?" Bell hears herself ask and Erika gives a small, sharp nod. 

"yes" 

Bell feels the word yes being seared into her heart with a heated iron. 

"How do you know?" she asks "maybe something else-"

"he confessed Bell" says Erika heavily 

"Girls!" someone shouts 

"we're coming just give us 5 more minutes!" shouts Erika back 

He confessed. 

"I can't breath" whispers Bell, her hand clutching her clothes above her heart. 

"All I'm asking is for a more understanding heart" 

Bell blinks the memories away desperately. 

"Bell...this was years ago" Erika tries but Bell sharply looks up at her, her eyes wide. 

How dare she defend him after this? 

"he paid for it-"

"I don't care" she says slowly, her voice low. 

Erika presses her lips tightly "don't do anything rash" she says "give him a chance"

Suddenly something snaps in place. 

"Did he put you up to this?" she asks suddenly, standing up "Did he get to you like he did with Maggie?"

"Bell-"

Her brain is fast as it starts to go back to the first day she met her. 

"Were you always working for him?" she asks, her eyes narrowing as she starts to put two and two together. Erika out of nowhere decided to be her friend and she always said good things about Arthur. Always complimenting him when she went off on him as usual.
