Rio's POV
After leaving the restaurant I headed to the mall.

I wanted to take Layla shopping so she could have some clothes at the house.

I didn't want her to leave , especially after what happened today with King bitch ass.

I wanted to protect her.

I'm really starting to fall for this girl. It's crazy cuz I never thought I could catch feelings foreal.

"Babe what you thinking about?" I looked over at Layla & she was looking up at me like a little kid.

I focused my attention back on the road, "You"

"Don't worry about it girl." I said laughing slightly.

I like her a lot , I do but I'm not one to express my feelings so easily.

Ima give it a minute.

She sat back in her chair & laid her head on the window yawning.

"You tired already?"

"I just ate so muchhh" she replied giggling like a child.

She so cute to me.

The radio was on low & she didn't ask for the aux surprisingly.

"You don't wanna listen to yo hood rat ass music?"

"Oh my god. I do but I ain't feel like grabbing it." She said smiling. "Turn yo trap music on"

Layla's POV
When Rio handed me his phone I was surprised.

I'm used to niggas cheating tho.

I was scrolling through his playlist when I decided on "Loose Talk" by Big Key.

I got to rapping the whole song & I could tell Rio was shocked but lowkey impressed.

He was rapping it with me tho

When the song was over we pulled up at the mall & I was so excited.

I LOVE shopping but I don't wanna spend up Rio money either.

Ima just get a few outfits & call if a day.

He already fed me & stuff so no need to be greedy.

He came over on my side of the car & opened the door for me.

"Thank you" I said taking his hand in mine.

"Bae that's my job , you don't have to say thank you."

"Yes I do now be quiet."

He's so kind to me. I love it

When we got in the mall he let me pick the store so I went to Rue 21.

"You can get anything you want , no limit."

That was like music to an addictive shopper omg.

I'm not bout to use his money when I got my own tho.

"Rio no. I have my own money." I said seriously

"See Layla that's yo problem. You always wanna be independent & shit. You can buy me something if that will make you feel ANY better. Like I said , get what you want & stfu."

He grabbed my chin , pulling my head back up

"Now go get what you want baby."

I turned around & he smacked my butt watching me shop around.

About 40 minutes later I was done so I walked up to Rio.

"Baby I'm done in here."

He just handed me his card & I went to pay.

A few minutes later I went back up to Rio with all my bags in hand.

"Where you wanna go next?"

"Hmmmm , it's just..So many options" I said being dramatic

He laughed "girl come on"

"Okay okay , Victoria Secret." I replied smiling

"Make sure you get some stuff to wear for me."

"Oh you know I will" I winked at him.

Honestly I just wanna go back to his house & fuck him all day.

Rio was following me around the store picking up stuff that he wanted to see me in. Literally the whole store.

"Layla?"

I turned around & it was Keisha & Rodney. Ugh , Rodney.

Rio looked at me confused

"Heyyyy bestie !!" I said acting like Rodney wasn't even there.

"Rio , this is Keisha. Keisha , this is Rio."

"Oh this the nigga who be fucking up yo walking?" She said eyeing Rio

Me & Rio started laughing cuz un untt.

We proceeded to shop until I was done.

Keisha's POV
Me & Rodney left out of Victoria Secret so we weren't near Layla & Rio.

"Yo friend rude asf." Rodney said with a attitude

"Rodney you know she don't like you. Get over it."

"Yeah aight , who the dude?"

"That's her nigga. With all the money." I said knowing that would get Rodney's attention.

"All the money huh.."

I don't know why I'm with Rodney tbh. He just help out when I need it.

It's a lot of bad about him tho.

He lies , cheats , steals. But I love him.

"Yeah"

We walked out the mall , to the car still talking.

"You tryna get rich?" Rodney said to me smirking.

"Bae really?" I said kinda irritated. He always wanna do some grimy shit.

"Keisha listen. If we hit this lick we can easily leave town & it can just be us."

I was considering it..

"But Layla is my best friend & she hasn't did anything wrong to me."

"Fuck friendships. This about the money Keisha."

I was listening to him but I was unsure.

We got in the car & sat for a minute.

"So , you in?" He asked looking at me.

I didn't say anything for a few seconds thinking.
