"D-detective?" The flyer girl at last, gasped which filled the room with more confusion.
"S-sandali. D-detective ka?" muling pagtatanong ng Manager.
"Yes, I am. Police Department's Inspector Apprentice, Henry Keal Anderson." He took a card from his chest pocket and showed it to everyone. It moreover proves his profile as an official crime solver of the police, an identification card, "Now, now. Shall we continue?"
To reveal his profile, was a very daring action from him. He must've been sure about his conclusion dahil kung hindi, mapapahiya siya sa huli. I get the feeling that this will be another great show to watch lalo na't hindi na rin makapaghintay ang audience sa mga susunod niyang sasabihin.
"Let me praise our suspect for his well-planned murder strategy," said he, clapping his hands.
Wait. Nagkamali lang ba si Henry ng sinabi or he really meant to say that the suspect is a 'his'? She has pony-tailed hair, an oval face covered by make-up and long sleeved uniform na tinernuhan din ng khaki pants kagaya ng mga kasama niya. Her built is quite small and she's quite thin but based from her broad shoulders, firm muscles na halos pumutok na sa kanyang masikip na sleeves and flat chest; someone may interpret him as a man. She has soft-spoken voice that emphasizes her gender and the impression of a strong woman in her face tells me na mahilig siyang mag-exercise kaya nagkakaroon siya ng ganoong kabatak na muscles.
"Right. You're a his, aren't you?"
The flyer girl kept her silence while staring at Henry. Hindi ito kumikibo sa kinatatayuan though the concentration of the latter was only meant for her or maybe him.
Instead, the waitress volunteered to stand out for her, "Alam mo, kung detective ka man o kung anuman, wala kang karapatang mangbintang kung wala kang napapatunayan."
"I know. We all know that. However-"
"Excuse me for a while." The man in the black suit stood in a calm manner. Tuluyan na sana siyang aalis until Henry stopped him from going on.
"Walang aalis sa inyo!"
Kung coincidence nga naman, mayroon ding dalawang tao na kakapasok pa lamang sa restaurant. They're all men again: a man of with baseball cap and leather jacket; and another who has black face mask, long green hat and black long sleeves polo. Hindi na sila nabati pa ng guard na nasa entrance at ng iba pang employees because they're too busy dealing with an intriguing. The men stopped at pinakiramdaman muna ng nangyayari sa loob. They looked around as they steal the spotlight.
"Customers? Aren't you?" Henry plastered a smile on his face while directing his attention to the men, "Come, come. Sit. You don't want to miss this."
Henry also waited for the man in black suit to go back to his seat before continuing his conjecture, "Miss Flyer Girl! Ah, yes. Do you have something to say? You're quite silent."
"She just don't know what to say! You're blaming her to be murderer yet you're not being clear in the situation here, Detective. Paano siya magiging murderer kung walang murder dito?" the waitress angrily replied.
Henry maintained his composure. He didn't reply.
"There is," the people in the restaurant suddenly turned to me like hungry wolves, "Maybe the murder didn't happen here but this place is a negotiator of murder."
Now I know. Kaya pala hindi pa siya nagsisimulang magpakita ng deduction talent niya because there's a reason to begin with.
