Backfire is a bigender SkyWing who was caught in a dragon flame cactus accident at a young age and lost her back legs and half her tail. That doesn't stop her from enjoying extreme sports!! He can do some pretty sick tricks with his wheels and is super fast. Despite this he gets into a lot of accidents and that's mainly why he's covered in scars. He used to be Earthworm's roommate back in the day and actually had a crush on them for a while but got over it. They're still pals!!
