I got in my house and it's already getting dark. I'm sure few minutes later is gonna rain outside

"Joey do you come with me?" Soph, my sister asked me

"Where?"

"Mom said we'll greet the new neighbours and bring them cake." Soph said

"i don't know. I'm not in such a good mood. " I sighed

"What's wrong?" Soph shrugged and sat beside me

"Alex. His car crashed, his parents brought him to New York." I sighed

"I'm sorry to hear that" Soph hugged me "okay i'mma go alone"

"Bye" I said

Hanna's pov

I went to my home. Relaxed my body on the sofa and watched to some Netflix movies until I heard the gate bell rang and a girl said through the gate pass thing "I'm Sophia" . I clicked the button to open the gate and now the door bell rang. I opened the door immediately.

"It's hard to get here though" she laughed

"Sorry, I won't put the gate locked next time. Hi Sophia" I smiled

"Hey, you are..." She asked for my name and hand me a cake. I took it and let her in "I'm Hanna"

"Wow" she opened her mouth

"What?" I shrugged my shoulder while put the cake on the table

"Your house. I might get lost here" she fake worried whilst put her palms on her heart

"Don't be" i giggled and signalling her to sit on the sofa "soooo"

"hmmmm, where did you come from?" Soph asked me

"France" i answered simply

*Ring ring ring* my phone rang

"Give me a minute" i said while get my phone and she nodded

"Helloooooooo" i said while raising my voice. Soph snickered as I do "who's talking?" I asked

"It's Mr. Hale" a man said

Fuck!! He's L.A. High School's principal "Oh sorry..." I'm shocked. You could hear my heart beats faster

"I just had to let you know that school starts 7 days more. You have to come to the office and take your schedule on the first day"

"Yes Mr. Hale, thank you for the information" I ended the call and sighed

"Mr. Hale? How'd you know him?" Soph furrowed her eyebrows

"Do you know him? Well I'm gonna attend LA high school next week"

"What? That's my school though" Soph said "we'll become close friends I guess" she smiled and I smiled back "I have to go back but it's raining" she looked at outside

"Just stay" I recommended her

"But--"

"What do you need? Clothes? Dinner? Room?" I got those all

"What if your parents don't like to get a stranger here?" She asked innocently

"My parents have passed away" i looked down trying to hold my tears in

"I'm sorry to hear that" she hugged me "don't cry please" she begged me with her puppy eyes which are same like a boy I met in the park

"It's okay" i smiled
