Chapter 5 Nothing beats Ice-cream

Start from the beginning

I was livid hearing that they were planning something as that. My hands turned into fists, without waiting for them I left the restaurant. I speeded my Porsche towards my home, I rudely slammed the door and went to change my clothes. After a few minutes I heard the door opening and Serena came accompanied by Jason.

"Austin what happened? You literally broke all the signals till here." Serena said running her hand through her hair.

"I think he was beyond wits angered, Sese, it's kind of relatable. If something happened to my sister I would want to kill them." Brian said entering.

I entered the room with a towel around my shoulders and wore black jeans and simple black polo full sleeve shirt with the two buttons opened. I sighed and sat down on the bed, Sese sat with me while Brian and Jason sat on the single seat couches in my room, "True if I ever see those people again I promise to make their lives a living nightmare."

"But have you once thought that Amalie was already facing PTSD but still protected me to the point she had to suffer a lot. Remember the day, I called you Austin for the first time to my high school because I wanted you to drive my friend to the hospital. That was the worst day, even though Amalie was facing them head on but they still were such horrid people that they dragged me into it as well that was when Amalie completely lost it and beat them up half to death, she didn't know me brother! The way I dressed I could easily be mistaken for a nerd but she didn't care until one of the cowards stabbed her! I can never forget that day no matter what." Serena had tears in her.

I hugged her to my side, "Hey, it's alright... Shh it's okay..." I consoled her.

"It's not fair! Amalie was all alone at the time, you have no idea how scared were we as in me and Lillian when we saw her being stabbed in front of our eyes. I don't know if I didn't call you what we would've done." My hold on her arm strengthened. I remember that day vividly, when she called me. That day changed our relationship forever.

To change the tense atmosphere, Jason said, "Come on Sese how about we head to your favorite ice-cream parlor Austin's treat."

At that moment she flew out of my reach, "Well then what are we waiting for? And by the way the next time we see Amalie you're going to apologize to her!"

With that she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room, Jason and Brian followed suit but smiling. And I shook my head at her childishness.

Amalie's POV:

I drove to my favorite ice-cream parlor since childhood and parked at my favorite spot, at the same time my phone pinged notifying that an incoming message, it said,

Hey, sis wanted to know where you are. And by the way Mimi is really angry.

I sighed but then typed; I'm right now at the ice-cream parlor of Martha's and yeah I kinda figured that Mimi would be angry but anyways do you guys want ice cream?

A moment later Dan sent another message. With everything that just happened yeah much appreciated. See you!

The bell chimed, and the sweet old lady Martha looked up to see me and smiled, "Ah Amalie dear, it's good to see my favorite munchkin!"

I squealed and ran to the back of the counter and hugged her. "Martha it's great to see you. How's Dave? And-" my sentence was left hanging when the bell chimed again. I looked towards the door and saw some unexpected people, Austin, Serena, Jason and Brian. I sighed and continued, "How is little Michael?"

She looked at me then at the customers, but before she could finish, Michael ran from the back side of the shop, "Mom, is big sis here?" he looked frantically around when he spotted me he ran my way and jumped into my arms. I laughed and picked him up.
