song for book: Jeremy Zucker - all the kids are depressed
depression is something i know all too well, i see it, it feel it, i breathe it; i know how hard it is to cope and i know how much it hurts. that is one of the reasons why i decided to make this book, where we can share our stories and support each other. depression is tough and i know we can't deal with it alone.
first of all, i'm going to tell you about my inspiration for this book, a song and music video called, 'all the kids are depressed' by Jeremy Zucker (the song above). i watched this video a few months ago, back then i was in a very dark place of which i still remain in now but i'm getting help and i'm slowly getting better. i heard this song and watched the video and i completely fell in love with it. it made me feel safe and eventually inspired me to make this book.
mental health issues are something that i along with many other people suffer with and have suffered from and although i can't exactly help myself, i figured i might as well try to help other people.
this book is about sharing your own stories and experiences and supporting others as they do so. how this will happen is if you would like, message me your stories and i will copy and paste it word-for-word as a whole part to this book; if you would like to remain anonymous then you may and if you don't really mind then i will take a first name to attach.
the following stories are not mine. when i decide to share my story i will let you know it is mine. all i ask of the readers who comment is that you be kind and positive at all times no matter what. this is a serious matter and i would appreciate it if you all were supportive here, this is a safe place.
