With you on my side, I thought I could do anything.
I know I could do it before I even tried.
But now that my life is at a pause,
I look at you and ask why?
You have been through it all.
Why would you leave now?
After I'm left quite appalled,
I ponder where life will take me now.
I venture upon this meaningless route,
To a destination undefined.
Wondering when you'll come back,
And once again be mine.
I know I shouldn't say this but,
I'm in love with you.
The nights I stay awake,
I pray to fall asleep to be with you.
Come back to me.
I need you in my everyday life.
I need you, need you, need you
To take away all the pain and strife.
Come back to my chambers of thoughts,
Where you live in my world to please me.
In my world, you were my everything.
So why did you escape me?
Man in my dreams.
I wish you were real.
So that you can take the place of my real man
And my heart can finally heal.
