Chapter-39

He looked down in clear dejection."I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you. It hurts so much. But if you are happy with him then i will be happy too. Just be careful."he mumbled slowly.

I smiled sadly and lifted his chin up."I'll be. And don't sulk over this thing. You deserve much more better than this. I will always be your best buddy."

He grinned." I know jiggly puff. So tell me everything that i missed."he ruffled my hair and bounced up. I rolled my eyes.

I was happy that we were back to normal. I told him everything that happened. His jaw was on floor by the time finished.

"Close your mouth or you might catch a fly."i laughed.

"Wow. I can write a book on your love story i think. It's pure dramatic." He said amused and i rolled my eyes again.

"Very funny. I'm gonna shower and change now. If you want you can crash here."i told him.

"If course I'm going to crash here. Is my house too."he grinned.

I frowned."yeah whatever."

I went in my bedroom and took a relaxing shower and changed in my PJs and tshirt.

By the time i came back to check on Jason he was already snoring. I covered him with a blanket and turned off the lights in kitchen and living room and returned to my bedroom.

I laid down on my bed and checked my phone for any texts. I replied to Michael and then we Skyped for some time. I dozed off between our video chat.

I jerked up in my bed when something cold was poured up on me.

Jason was laughing his ass off.

That fucker poured cold water on me. Now i was wet from head to toe shivering in cold. My clothes and hair were sticking to my body.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU. YOU ASSHAT." I screamed and jumped out of bed only to slip and fall on face due to water. I groaned in pain.

Jason rolled down on floor laughing and clutching his stomach.

I slowly got up and charged on him. He ran into kitchen. I picked and threw whatever i could find at him. Even his cellphone which hit him on nose. He held his nose and groaned in pain.

"Dosen't feel good when you are on recieving end now does it?!" I scowled at him. He groaned louder in response.

I laughed at him and went in my bathroom shaking my head. I stood in front mirror and yikes, i looked like a wet rat. I frowned at my reflection.

I wore a blue tshirt with skin coloured leggings after taking a shower. My house was filled with delicious smell of waffles.

"Mmmm something smells nice."i moaned walking in kitchen.

"I made waffles."Jason squeaked. I giggled and day down on my tiny dining table.

We are our breakfast while chatting. I was so relieved that things between me and Jason were finally okay. Arguments with besties make you feel worse.

We left for our work once we finished. I was in good mood. Anna was cheery to because her relationship was finally stable.

Working after so many days boosted me up. It was refreshing. After having lunch i called Michael.

"My Rose. How are you?" His angelic voice came.

"I'm fine. What about you?"

"I'm good. Missing you so much Princess."he sighed.
