Chapter 20:The Real Queen

"Say that again," Ava smirked.

"I'm dead..." Vandora replied.

"Stop,"

"What?"

"This! Ava said pouring a bucket of crystal on her,she fell and immediately felt weak "What the fuck!" Using the swore to hit her "die you bitch," Ava said as Vandora immediately turned into dust."

"We can use it to also kill Jadis," Emma replied as he  peeped into the room with Addison.Lord jack and the others were still outside the room.

"You dummy,Jadis isn't in her true form so it won't be easy to kill her,I'm afraid the protector can't too.She's too powerful now with those souls locked up," Addison replied.

"Mary,go outside. Your father is waiting for you," Ava said facing Lady Mary.

"I can't even look at you Ava. I do not know what you must think of me now but I swear to you I had no intentions of hurting anyone,Jadis and Vandora manipulated me. Thank you,you are actually really strong and I hope you defeat Jadis and I'm sorry again for everything I've done,for trying to get between you and Vador ,"

"We would have time for this later Mary,go now."

"Show yourself Jadis," Ava spat"Hang on Aiden," Ava said kissing him. "You too Aleister."

"Wait. Ava,your touch.I actually, I feel really strong now. It's like the water has no effect on me anymore."Vador smiled looking at Aleister "do you feel the same?"

"I certainly do Aiden and I'm not suprised at all," Aleister scoffed."She's the shield,you dummy"

"Do not let Jadis hurt you Ava please," Vador pleaded. "I do not want to lose you forever."

"I'm back," Jadis smiled with a sword in her hand,her eyes changing color"I can easily kill you with this sword dark lord and stay out of it Ava,"

"Not on my watch," Ava said throwing a crystal at Jadis which made the sword fall. Ava immediately took the protector from where Jadis kept it.

"Lord jack,Matthew," Ava shouted.

"I'm so disappointed in you Jadis," Marcus said on entering into the room with the others.

"You're out numbered so brace yourself and surrender."

"Hahaha," Jadis laughed.Have you forgotten that I have the lord and Aleister tied up.

"Ava the protector won't work on the metal chair. It's too strong," Addison whispered.

"Fine I give up," Jadis said pretending to put the sword down but instead she threw a bottle of holy water which spilled on the ground."I know I've lost but I can't let you win completely either," she said pushing the sword into Ava's skin from behind.

"Ja diss," Ava screamed. Turning to face her.

"Ava Ava, you let her hurt you," Vador cried out. " I warned you against this!"

Forcing the protector apart. Ava picked up the ring and wore it "I'm the shield Jadis. You messed with the wrong vampire," she said pointing the ring at her "I put an end to your existence.Your body and your soul I send to eternal bondage,agape lumi lumi sah!"

"Nooooooooooo," Jadis shouted before disappearing.

Pointing the ring at the metal chair Aiden and Aleister were tied to,Ava broke it.

"Ava, Ava are you okay," Aiden gasped as he ran to hold her. Looking at her back he saw that she wasn't healing from the cut.

"Well done Shield," Alizon appeared into the room."But your work here isn't done,we'll have to go to each empire to break the illusion spell,"

"Godmother,she's in pain,"Aiden cried out. "Jadis hit her with a sword."

"I'll do it Aiden. It's my job,I have to."Ava said in pain.

After breaking all the illusion spell in each empire and destroying the box with the souls trapped it in Ava was totally out of strength. Back at the royal house the vampires in all empire were assembled in to be addressed by Aleister.

"A mere human vampire saved us all," Aleister said addressing them "Ava whom some of you might know and some might not is the vampire the lord is in love with. She also saved us all.Aiden bring her,"

"Look at the state she's in," Aiden said biting his lips."This is all my fault" he said leading Ava to Aleister;

"Queeen," they all shouted.

"Aiden I love you but my soul is,is drifting apart,"Ava said putting the necklace on his neck before closing her eyes and  embracing darkness as she fell into Aiden's hands.

"Ava!" Aiden shouted.

"What's wrong with her?" One of the vampires screamed.

"She's a real queen. Giving up her life to save us all," A guard said.

"The ring fits perfectly well on her . She was destined to be queen," Addison cried out.

What did I just hear?Ava defeated Jadis but did she really have to pay the price?let me know your thoughts on this.I think there's gonna be a sequel to this book ,I am so excited because I'm almost done yaay.
