A Leap From The Past

RON'S POV

We were all talking in hushed voice about how much the future had changed. It felt very weird to see Harry's son who was of the same age like us sitting with us on our table .I wondered with whom did Harry end up with.

During the summer I really missed the Hogwarts food. Especially the chicken. The drumstrang students who too travelled in future haven't yet revealed their real names so neither have we. Then soon the desserts arrived, I was in awe when I saw the dessert it was chocolate brownies and at that moment I started Drooling

" Brownies! " I squealed

" Calm down Steve! " Hermione said to me

And that made everyone laugh at us.
I along with the others took a big bite of the brownie and I was dreamily savouring the taste when someone tapped on my shoulder

" Mate ? " Harry said

I opened my eyes and turned around to face him except he looked different. My eyes widened, Harry's fake blond hair and turned to fluorescent orange and not only that his hair were long. He had violet lipstick on his lip, eyeliner on his eyelids, mascara on his lashes and blush on his cheeks. (Don't ask me how I know so much about makeup I've seen mom doing makeup.) My best friend Harry was looking ridiculous . And I couldn't help myself but laugh at him. I laughed so hard that I fell from my seat.

" First look at yourself " Harry said and laughed as hard as me that he too fell from his seat.

Everyone else was laughing at each others. Everyone except Harry's son and his group weren't looking ridiculous.

Suddenly the each of the head of the houses stood and shouted at the four pranksters and gave them detentions. James Potter was laughing so hard he almost fell from his seat. The four pranksters got from their seats still laughing and started running out of the great hall. All of us were laughing and some were cheering at them. I couldn't believe those kids they literally bested Fred and George. Fred and George of the future must be so proud of them. I laughed at that thought. The four pranksters left the great hall with James shouting a compliment for professor mcgonagall. For the first time it wasn't a regular morning worrying for the ministry's news about the death eaters or you -know -who . I could even tell that Harry thought the same thing.

ROSE'S POV

Until next day my face was back to normal and so was of the rest of the school. It was good to be back at Hogwarts. I, Al and Scorpius were going to our first class, charms casually talking about yesterday's infamous prank.

" Argg!! I'll never forgive James for that stupid prank. "

" But you have to admit it was awesome " Scorpius said

" What is he good at except playing pranks anyway? " Albus said with a shrug

" He's one of the best chasers at Hogwarts. And just like your dad he is good in dada and surprisingly in potions too and just like your entire potter family he is a scholar at transfiguration. " Scorpius said with a slight fascination

"Since when did you started to take his side? " I asked him

" Exactly " Al added

" I'm not taking anyone's side, just stating the facts " Scorpius said as he walked ahead of us

I saw one of the transfer students following us to the class
"Guys one of the new girl is behind us " I whispered to both of them

" So what do we do ?" Al said

" She looks like a fourth year student " Scorpius said

"Let's ask her to join us " Al said

The three of us turned around and almost scared her

"Hi " I said to her

" Hello " she replied back a little startled

" You're a fourth year student right? " I asked her nicely

She nodded.

" So do you wanna join us for the charms class? " I asked her

" Umm... Yeah sure "she replied

The four of us were walking together to the class

" So what's your name? " I asked her

" G... Jennifer Stan "

" I'm Rose Weasly " I said

" Weasly ?!" she said with a small smile

" Yep, but why do you ask? "

" Nothing, just I'm to quite fond of the weaslys "

" Oh "

" Anyways I'm Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy "

" Malfoy?! " she said with a startled look

" Uh huh got a problem? " Al asked

"Uh.. No it's just I thought malfoy family and the weaslys had a rivalry "

" Some things change with time. Both the families are on good terms " I said while making an end of the discussion.

" And I'm Albus Potter "

" How many potters are there? " Jennifer asked

" Three actually, you've must have met James, he's the eldest, then it's me and then it's our sister Lily Luna Potter who's in third year in Gryffindor house " Albus explained to her

But before she could reply we reached our class and the four of us sat together.

Most of the class we were taking notes unlike some of my siblings namely James and Freddie. I was the smart one in my family. Albus was the sensible one. Lily was the darling of both the families. Hugo was the quietest. Victorie was the most beautiful. Dominique was the most pretty one. Louis was charming . Molly and Lucy were the typical twins who would finish each others sentences. And Roxanne was the kindest of all.

After the class

"So umm who are your parents Rose ?"

" My dad is Ron Weasly and my mum is Hermione Granger Weasly "

" Ya right and I'm you -know -who . Wait seriously? "

I nodded at her while trying to understand her amusement at the names of my parents.

" More like you -knew -who " Albus muttered under his breath

'' What's that? '' Ginny asked

But before albus could answer jennifer was called by one of the transfer students .

Jennifer went over to her friend . We decided to wait for her, soon she came and told us she couldn't attend the next class as she and the other students were called in the headmistress's office.
