Connor walked behind Gavin noticing that his stress level was up to a 54% this time. Probably because Fowler wants both of them. As they were walking, Connor noticed concern on Hanks face. He probably heard Fowlers quick yelling, and his stomping through the DPD.

'Don't worry Lieutenant, This is Fowler on his good days' Connor messaged Hank. He looked at his phone and let out a big chuckle. He had to admit, that was a good one.

In the familiar setting of Fowlers office, Gavin sat down in one of the chairs while Connor chose to just stand. Fowler dropped a file on his desk in front of Gavin and opened it. It had a picture of - what Connor analysed - the deviant VH500. Gender: Female, height: 5'8, hair: long, and red. Killed a mother and her child only a month ago on April 23rd. Connor and Hank have been on the case since the incident with little success. All they know is that her whereabouts is around the Eden Club, much to their dismay. Also it was clear she could recognise both Connor and Hank from a mile away. It was obvious to Connor why he and Gavin were here.

"Gavin, I need you to work on this case with Connor, due to the fact this thing..." he puts his finger on the picture of the deviant. "Seems to recognise Hank."

"No" Gavin muttered, already about to stand and leave. That is until Fowler slammed his hands on his desk.

"You WILL work with Connor, and you WILL solve this case Reed."

"I will NOT work with a damn machine Fowler!" Gavin bursted out. Connor continued to stand at the back of the room, appearing like he wasn't even listening to the argument.

"Don't make me threaten your badge Detective!" That caught Gavin.

"You wouldn't."

"I will if you continue being this uncooperative!" Fowler yelled. Gavin growled and crossed his arms like a stubborn child. Fowler finally sat down in his chair and pushed the file closer to Gavi who stared at it for a good 30 seconds. Finally after a grumble, he took the file and stormed out of the office to his desk. Fowler sighed and started rubbing his head. Connor leaves and heads over to his and Hanks desk.

"I've been informed you're off the case Hank, and that I'll be working with Detec..."

"...tive Reed" Hank finished. He seemed a little angered, but a small smile reached his lips. "This may be your chance at making you amends."

Connor smiled in response.

INCOMING MESSAGE popped up in his programming.

Unknown: Hey plastic, I want this case over and done with so be at my car in 5 minutes.

Connor could already tell it was Gavin. He smiled a little bigger, thinking that Gavin would possibly warm up to him a little faster than he expected.

"I'll probably be a while Lieutenant, so will see you at home."

Hank nodded and continued his work. He had faith that Connor would be alright. But if Gavin hurt Connor, then he would be in for the beating of his life.

"I said in 5 minutes, not right THIS minute!" Gavin said from his car. "...you know what, nevermind. Just get in."

Connor did as he was told and entered the car. It held a faint greasy smell along with whiskey. Honestly, Connor wasn't surprised considering the occasional times Gavin had a whiskey stain on his shirt. The ride was fairly quiet, but Connor noticed that Gavins stress level was still higher than usual, at 59%. Connor still wanted, at least a less stress induced relationship with Gavin. They didn't have to be friends, or even acquaintances. He'd even accept Gavin just treating him exactly or similar to before.

"Detective..." Connor started cautiously, being weary of what he says and how says it. Gavins stress level didn't change which was...good? "This may be a good time for us to..."

"Don't" Gavin interrupted.

"But Gavin..."

Gavin stomped on the brakes and faced the android with anger in his eyes. "I don't care that you want to make amends with me, because it's pretty clear that after what happened things will not be positive between us. Got that you prick?" Connor simply nodded looked away from Gavin. "And you will not call me by my given name. Capiche?" Again, Connor nodded.

This was going to be tougher than he thought. Not that he thought it was going to be easy.

Instead of going to the Eden club, Gavin drove to his house instead. Connor was about to question until Gavin said "If we're doing this case, we're getting you out of your cyberlife uniform so we actually have a chance at catching this deviant." It was almost a growl. Connor exited the car and followed Gavin into his house.

The house was, surprisingly clean. Aside from all the papers and envelopes on the kitchen counter and living room table. Gavin could be heard down the hall in his room looking for clothes. Connor took this opportunity to do a bit of snooping. Only a bit. He walked around the living room where he took notice of a picture of Gavin and a very, VERY familiar face. It took him a moment but after a bit more analysing, it was clearly Elijah Kamski. Connor stared at it in confusion.

"Hey prick!" Gavin's hand grabbed Connor's shoulder and turned him around. "Don't go snooping in places you don't belong."

"Sorry Detective."

"Whatever, put these clothes on" Gavin pushed some crumpled of pair of jeans and a green t-shirt into Connors chest. Connor took his belt off halfway before Gavin yelled "For fucks sake, change in the bathroom dipshit!"

Connor didn't respond this time, and just walked down the hallway to find the bathroom. He accidentally reopened Gavin's room and quickly shut it. He saw the basic layout of it and a...cat? Connor would open the door again to confirm his suspicion, but there was a 94% chance Gavin would get mad at him, and he's not going to take that chance. The bathroom was just at the end of the hall and was quite large for only 1 person, but it could just be another estimation from his old programming.

The clothes fit Connor decently, though the shirt was a bit tight on him but that was about it. Connor looked in the mirror and began moving his hair around. He decided just to slick all of his hair back and darken it slightly. Though it was such a little change he looked very different from his usual self.
